McKean v. Meldrum and Stewart

File consists of four documents: Notice of Motion; (3) Bill of Complaint. the Defendant's were carrying on business as Stewart Meldrum and Co. They purchased a tract of land at Quasquemo, Vancouver Island, to which the Plaintiff advanced them significant amounts of money to acquire the property at Quasquemo. Plaintiff prays that an account be taken of what is due for principal and interest on the unfulfilled mortgage and that the Defendants pay the amount that is due.

Hughes for the purpose of communication with the sea shore. the two parties are having difficulty agreeing on a price for the property.

Anstruther carried out business as merchant and agent in a copartnership
with W. Burnett Mactavish under the firm name of Anstruther & Company in Calcutta. Anstruther found himself facing insolvency due to his indebtedness and petitioned the court in Calcutta for relief.

-T. Dessault is of unsound mind and altogether unfit to govern himself or to manage his affairs. He has no relations in British Columbia and is currently detained in the lunatic asylum for safe keeping. Petitioner asks that the court certifies the lunacy of T. Dessault so that he may continued to be cared for in the asylum.

Dunlevy et al v. Brosseau

The Plaintiffs, carrying on business as Dunlevy and Company, are suing the Defendant for converting to his own use and wrongfully depriving the Plaintiffs of the use and possession of the Plaintiff's goods that were to be carried by the Defendant from Quesnellemouth to Tatlah.
