Fonds consists of records generated in the course of the merger and in the first months of life of the IEEE (1962-1963), as well as of the documentation of the two previous societies which constitute two sub-fonds: IRE (1950-1963) and AIEE (1911-1963). The fonds consists of minutes of meetings, as well as of annual report and publications and is arranged in three series: series one dealing with minutes of meetings (1963), series two consisting of annual report (1062-1963) and series three being a miscellanea of publications and leaflets (1960-1963). The sub-fonds IRE and AIEE are subdivided in numerous series.

The fonds consist of various committees' records associated with CICSR between 1986 and 1996. These are advisory committees that report on academic and campus computing, science education and continuing education at the University of British Columbia.
The fonds is maintained in the original order in which it was received. It is divided into seven files according to the subject matter. The fonds consist of textual materials including memoranda, correspondence, meeting minutes and agendas, reports, written notes and other printed materials.

Inouye Family fonds

The fonds consists of photographs and textual records which belonged to the Inouye family. The records are related mostly to the father, Zennosuke Inouye and his involvement with the Surrey Berry Farmers Cooperative and his youngest daughter, Kiyooki (Beverly) Inouye. The fonds has been arranged into the following series: Surrey Berry Farmers Cooperative records, correspondence, ephemera, land records, photographs, military records, financial records, and voting records.

Fonds consists of records documenting the functions and activities of UBC Infrastructure Development and older records documenting those functions, development and management of institutional facilities within the former units of UBC Utilities and Campus Planning and Development. Records include correspondence, technical diagrams, meeting minutes and information, strategic planning reports, news clippings, consultation documents.
Records related to development projects were kept in their original order in the Project Files and Development series. However, other documents had no discernible order and were arranged into the other series presented.

The Miscellaneous subjects series includes materials pertaining to UBC's participation in "Habitat" (the 1976 United Nations Conference on Human Settlement), and the Commonwealth University Congress (1978).

Information Office fonds

Industrial Workers of the World Vancouver Branch fonds

The fonds consists of a variety of materials, once housed in the Vancouver offices of the IWW, including correspondence, newspapers, convention reports, brochures and cash books, posters, sound recordings of IWW songs, two glass panels from the Vancouver office with IWW insignia, charter and postcards. Fonds includes correspondence, subject files, minutes, photographs, posters and periodicals relating to labour and political issues ca. 1986, such as those relating to Expo '86, and includes correspondence of Bill Culp, Pam Tranfield, and Tom Wayman.

Indigenous Communities Research Collection

The collection consists of research materials collected by Frank Tester and Glenn Drover. A large part of the fonds consists of newspaper clippings from the 1980s and 1990s related to Canadian and international Indigenous issues. Also included are copies of British Columbia provincial statutes and regulations dealing primarily with local First Nations issues, reports, and other materials documenting Indigenous communities' history in British Columbia and throughout Canada, focusing mainly on child welfare issues.

The collection also incorporates materials collected by Glenn Drover, former Director of the School of Social Work (1983-90). Drover was an accomplished scholar and a dedicated advocate for social justice in Canada and globally. He was recognized for his lifetime contributions to Canadian social work when the annual national social worker award was named the Glenn Drover Award for Outstanding Service. He worked with the Cree in the North, with youth in New York City, people in various countries of Africa and Asia, and various social welfare programs.

Independent Order of Good Templars, Lodge Linnea No. 76 fonds

The fonds consists of the research materials for Irene Howard's book, Vancouver Svenskar which chronicles the history of Lodge Linnea No. 76, Vancouver. The fonds consists of minute books, financial records, membership lists, attendance records, and related material. The fonds also includes the minute book of Lodge 76‘s juvenile division Pride of Vancouver No. 27 (IOGT, 1936-1937). Fonds consists of the following series: Minutes of Lodge No. 76, Membership of Lodge No. 76, Financial Records, Young People: Pride of Vancouver, No. 27.

Fonds also contains a file of ephemeral items and artifacts related to the Lodge No. 76, including a petition for the control of alcohol and drug trafficking, a medal, and certificates (see box 1).
