This series contains research data and notes, codebooks, and clippings related to a study conducted by William A. Watts and David Whittaker of students involved in the 1964 Free Speech Movement. Also included is correspondence and drafts from the resulting paper authored by Watts and Whittaker and published in 1966: “Some Socio-Psychological Differences Between Highly-Committed Members of the Free Speech Movement and the Student Population at Berkeley”.
