Tissue deck plans for the third Montcalm, the second Montrose, the Montclare, and the Duchess steamships Atholl, Bedford, York, and Richmond. Deck plans of the Montcalm, Montrose, and Montclare for the following years: August, 1923 and March, 1928 (with interior views), and February 1930, July 1935, and March, 1937 (colour coded with interior views). Deck plans of the Duchess steamships Atholl, Bedford, York, and Richmond are for the following years: September 1930, November and December 1931, and March 1934 (all with interior views).

Diary of Captain W.H. Porter

A diary kept from 1904 to 1917 by W. H. Porter, a captain with the B.C.C.S.S. The diary includes several carbon copies of letters from Porter. The diary also includes annotations by Dr. W. B. Chung regarding the diary, inside front cover, and is accompanied by a typed transcription made in the 1980s.

41 menus from the Princess Louise and 4 menus from the Princess Alice, both part of Canadian Pacific Railway's Alaska Service. With musical programme on the back. Cover images include Lake Louise from the Chateau, Malahat Drive on Vancouver Island, the Chateau Frontenac, and Indian chief, Banff Springs Hotel, the Royal York Hotel, Hotel Vancouver, and the Empress Hotel. Official album of large format photographs of the Empress of Asia and Empress of Russia steamships produced by the Canadian Pacific Railway Company to promote its luxury ocean liner travel, including a photograph of the Empress of Asia on a trial trip, some photographs of the Empress of Asia's interior, including photographs of its first class common rooms, private quarters, and a photograph of the ship's gymnasium, as well as several photographs of the Empress of Russia, including a photograph taken on the ship's observation bridge, a photograph of the first class promenade deck, some photographs of the ship's first class common areas, as well as a photograph of the Louis the Fifteenth Suite, and a photograph of a first class state room.

Empress of Asia ephemera

File contains steerage berthing cards for Chow Yat Hong and Woo Chow Shim, correspondence between Yip Sang and J. J. Forster concerning a refund for Shim's ticket, as well as two bills of lading from goods to be shipped from Asia to Vancouver and Victoria, British Columbia, aboard the Empress of Asia.
