Fonds consists of original versions of manuscripts and working records. Included are manuscripts, edited and marked for printing, typescript, editorials, articles, poems and book reviews of Canadian Literature, Issues #73 - #179, 1977-2003. Also included are correspondence files, 1975-1993. These latter files contain letters from many well-known Canadian writers and poets. Records from the pre-1977 period will be found at Queen's University Archives interspersed with other correspondence in the George Meredith Woodcock manuscript collection.

Fonds consists of records documenting the origins and early history of the British Columbia Union Catalogue and includes correspondence, reports, and publications. They are arranged primarily in chronological order.

The fonds consists of video recordings of various plays featured in the festival, photographs from some festival events and records pertaining to the administration of the festival. Administrative records take the form of promotional programs and posters, meeting minutes, agendas, memorandum, calendars, budgets, reports, newspaper clippings, notes, correspondence, handbooks, and some play scripts.

Fonds consists of correspondence, manuscripts, and reports relating to the content and publication of BC Studies as well as its relationship with other UBC bodies. Also included are financial records relating to the internal and external funding of the journal. The fonds consists of material relating to the foundation and early development of the Department of Fine Arts and other university-related committees and activities in which Binning participated, including the Fine Arts Committee, the Festival of Contemporary Arts, and the development of Nitobe Gardens. Fonds consists of published and unpublished works, subject files, correspondence, minutes, reports, sound recordings and a photograph relating to Basil Stuart-Stubbs' position as University Librarian and Director of the School of Librarianship (School of Library, Archival and Information Studies) at UBC, his involvement with the UBC Press, and his academic interests and activities. The fonds consists of seven incoming letters from Jane Rule to Ann Micou dating from 2003 to 2007. The last letter is dated October 8, 2007, and was written a little over a month before Jane Rule’s death. The fonds also includes four CD’s featuring Jane Rule reading a selection of her short stories including “House,” “A Chair for George,” “Seaweed & Song,” “You Cannot Judge a Pumpkin by the Smile Upon His Face,” “A Migrant’s Christmas,” “If There is No Gate,” “Home Movie,” “Blessed are the Dead,” and “Dulce.” Apparently, the recordings were produced in a small number for distribution to family and friends. The fonds also includes a copy of a videotape entitled Fiction and Other Truths: A Film About Jane Rule (Eds. Lynne Fernie, Aerlyn Weissman).

Fonds includes correspondence, notes, publications, maps, drawings, photographs, and presentation aids pertaining to Alan Sawyer’s academic research, writing, curatorial and appraisal work. Includes provenance information and research regarding Sawyer's private collection of art and artefacts including sales records, photographs, inventories, catalogues and correspondence.

Fonds consists of materials that document the personal and professional activities of Abraham Rogatnick and includes handwritten notes and notebooks on historical and architectural subjects, index cards, typewritten speeches, writings, correspondence, and photographs.
