A family album that comes from the estate of one Mr. Abramson, a former Consul General of the United States to Canada. The photos are from throughout British Columbia and California, in Kelowna in particular. Most of the images are captioned, but many are too faded to be fully legible. There is some significant damage to the album and some of the photographs. One negative is also tucked into the album.

An album of photographs from a trip to British Columbia (plus Spokane, Washington), by a man identified only as F.L.M., accompanied by at least two others (McMillan and English). The images depict a number of cities as well as landscapes and some mining and manufacturing facilities. It is a pre-printed album made by Kodak, though the original housing mechanisms appear to be missing and the photos are glued to the page. Some pages are blank, but it does not appear that photos have been removed; though three sheets have been cut out from the back.

File contains photographs of tugs on the Fraser River: Sea Imp XVII, Harken 6, and the Ken Mackenzie towing logs.

From descriptive metadata written by Alan Haig-Brown: "High speed aluminum tug [Sea Imp XVII], wrote article for Finning's Tracks and Treads, also Professional Mariner" and "for Professional Mariner article, also in Tide and Current" [re: log towing].

File contains a journal of expenses and payments related Spring's business with entries from March 12, 1888 to October 20, 1898 (page 217). Entries include expenditures for good and services for vessels, wages, and other expenses. Some entries are out of chronological order. No entries exist between September 1892 and October 1898. Many of the pages in the journal are loose.
