Depicts Main Street in Alert Bay showing the Dong Grocery, noted by Dr. W. B. Chung as the family business and childhood home of Lily Lee (née Dong), wife of Robert Lee, Chancellor of the University of British Columbia. Also depicts Wong's Café (full name: Wong Toy & Sons Ltd.). The building housing Wong’s Café was constructed in 1934 and the store opened in 1935 operating under the same name plus the moniker "Bing's" until 1985 when the business was closed and the store sold. The Butcher Store later became the Royal Café.
