[Cheques from Robert Dunsmuir]

10 cheques from Robert Dunsmuir, President of Esquimalt and Nanaimo Railway Company, to various recipients. All from the Bank of British Columbia. According to a note that arrived with the material, the three cheques from 1889 related to expenses surrounding Dunsmuir's death that year. One of those is signed by his accountant William Whyte. One other is dated 1901 -two years after his death- but appears to have been signed by Dunsmuir and so may have been written much earlier.
