Series consists of three ledgers arranged chronologically. Ledgers record monthly resource expenditures and receipts. Two of the ledgers remain unbound in their original boxes and the other is bound.
Series consists of Welfare Fund balance sheets (1965-1980) , directives of the Benevolent Society (1955-1977), a list of meeting halls, summaries of annual meetings (1945-1960), a list of new members (1959-1973), a list of members leaving (1955-1977), a list of members' numbers, and general information about the unemployment insurance commission.
Correspondence mainly pertains to the payment of dues, death benefits, and pension assistance.
Financial records include the Union's operating statements, copies of Pacific Lumber Inspectors' Bureau (PLIB) statements, Welfare Fund Account statements, and other financial statements.
Series consists of reference material compiled by the Financial Secretary. It includes general union information, lumber inspection information, and construction agreement information.
Constitutions and associated papers
Series consists of constitutions of the union and its benefit funds. It also includes miscellaneous committee reports, notes, and minutes.
The series consists of material relating to the main functions of the office, which include the administration and day-to-day business of the Union. Primary functions consisted of administrative and financial operations as well as advocacy and bargaining on behalf of the union members. Record types in the series include collective agreements, reports, financial audits, legal documents, bulletins, constitutions, correspondence, minutes of meetings, and further related records to the unions operations.
Application, dues payment, and transfer records
Series is comprised of 10cm x 15cm cards and a partial members' list. These cards serve the sole function of providing information about individual members. Cards record various information such as a member's full name, address, occupation, name of employer, dues payments, age, birth date, and date of transfer and retirement . The cards are arranged alphabetically by the surnames of the Union's members.
Arbitration cases reference files
Series consists of copies of other unions' and locals ' arbitration case books, as well as their master agreements. Each book includes the proceedings of each case brought before an arbitration board or an individual arbitrator. There are also memorandum to, and interpretations of, some of the agreements.
Register of attendance at meetings
The series consists of one register. It contains the signed names of members who attended the individual union meetings. Entries are arranged chronologically by meeting.
Series includes reference information about the IWA International Organization . As well, there are Safety Conference minutes, and small booklets which consist of copies of contracts and master agreements, grading rules, constitutions and bylaws, and general union literature.
Welfare and pension policies papers
Series consists of policy manuals and blank forms necessary for the administration of the Welfare and Pension Plans.
Series consists of correspondence and information pertaining to various taxes levied on union members, per capita, by the IWA to support striking workers in other IWA locals.
