The series consists of letters, memoranda and associated press clippings relating to communication between B.C. Branch executive members and members of the VANA national executive, the general membership, federal government representatives and individual members, regarding both operational activities and issues and internal administration.

The series consists of correspondence, written submissions to government committees, press releases, press clippings, summaries of speeches and research materials. These relate either to submissions directed at the federal government and organized by VANA's National Office and participated in by the Lower Mainland Branch, or; to submissions prepared by the Lower Mainland Branch independently and directed at local government.

Vancouver City Council Resolution on a Comprehensive Nuclear Weapons Test Ban Treaty

Branch in support of a September, 1989, Vancouver City Council resolution urging the federal government to facilitate the passing of a comprehensive nuclear test ban treaty.
