This album consists of a file folder that held pictures mounted on card for the British Columbia Provincial Museum's 1985 exhibition titled The New Highway to the Orient : The Canadian Pacific in British Columbia, 1885-1985. An inscription: "To Wally with my sincere thanks, Bob" is on the inner right side of the folder with a picture of the builder's model of the C.P. R.M.S. Empress of Asia mounted on the folder's verso. The file folder was presented to Dr. W. B. Chung by the museum, curator Robert Turner, in acknowledgement of his assistance in the preparation of the exhibition. This album consists of promotional material for the Empress to the Orient exhibition at the Vancouver Maritime Museum in May 1991 to January 1992. It includes a press kit consisting of a colour poster advertising the exhibition, the notes for remarks by William W. Stinson, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Canadian Pacific Limited, and E. V. Dodge, the Executive Vice-President of Canadian Pacific Rail. The album also consists of a May 6, 1991 press release by the Vancouver Maritime Museum regarding the opening of the exhibition to the public and a communique issued by the Royal Canadian Mint on May 15, 1991, regarding a one hundred dollar commemorative gold coin depicting the C.P.
