Mary MacDonald was born in Upper South River, Antigonish, Nova Scotia, and was married January 29, 1924 in Los Angeles to James Mooney. She became a Registered Nurse in British Columbia November 23, 1920. She worked most of her life in Vancouver, and died in April 7, 1970 in New Westminster, British Columbia.

Series contains several artifacts from outside British Columbia, Trained Nurses Association of India, Winnipeg and Edmonton General Hospitals and The General Nursing Council for England & Wales. Contains 1 pin and a badge mounted in frames, some items arrived with custom storage boxes.
