Fonds consists of personal and professional materials of Beesley’s related to his career. The fonds is divided into seven series: Biographical/Personal Information series (1946, 1972-2009); Correspondence series (1973, 1979, 1980-1984); Articles, Statements, and Speeches series( 1967-2004); Newspaper Clippings series (1972-1982); International Law Commission (UN General Assembly Reports) series (1986-1992), Photographs series (1962-1963, 1972-1984, 1989, 2003), and Audiovisual series (1972-1982).

Fonds consists almost entirely of materials created or acquired by Gordon Elliott throughout his life and career and includes:
• The manuscripts for his historical writing.
• Research materials.
• Personal correspondence.
• University notes and lectures.
• Newspaper clippings.
• Public lectures.
• An audio recording.

The fonds consists of forty-one interviews with thirty eight colleagues, family, students and friends of Margaret Ormsby. In addition to the 50 cassette tapes there is also general information about the project as well as textual material for each interview consisting of a tape release form signed by the interviewee, a biographical information sheet and a detailed "timed tape guide".

The fonds consists of correspondence from 1929 to 1990; biographical data/information from 1921 to 1991; literary works from 1938 to 1984; photographs from 1898 to 1984; interviews and talks/speeches given from 1942 to 1984; newspaper clippings from 1920 to 1990; newsletters and theatre souvenirs from 1922 to 1987.

Fonds consists of materials that document Walter Young's personal life, academic career, and political interests. It includes correspondence, minutes and agendas, reports, lecture notes and other course materials, financial statements, manuscripts, index cards, audio recordings, and publications (including books, newspapers, magazines, journals, pamphlets, and clippings). They are arranged in two series, Personal Papers and Research. Their original order has largely been maintained.
