Chinese in Singapore and Malaysia series

Series consists of materials collected by Edgar Wickberg, which document the history of the Chinese community in Malaysia and Singapore, and consists of photocopied newspaper articles acquired through the National University of Singapore.

Chinese in the United States series

Series consists of materials collected by Edgar Wickberg that document the history of the Chinese community in the United States, or that document public perceptions of the Chinese-American community. It consists primarily of newspaper and magazine clippings and correspondence, notes, and other published materials.

Chinese Organizations series

Series consists of lists, clippings, notes, and printed material about various Chinese organizations. Series contains two subseries: Associations, Clubs, and Societies and Individual Files subseries. In addition, recent publications of the Shon Yee Benevolent Association of Canada (file 26-34) were added in February 1999.

Chinese Times series

Series consists of two indexes, one chronological and the other subject, about articles within the Chinese Times newspaper. The indexes were created by three readers who surveyed the entire run of the paper from 1914 to 1969 and provided summarized notes in English. Series contains two subseries: Chronological Research Index and Subject Index subseries.
As of July 2016, the entire run of the Chinese Times is available in digital format at http://chinesetimes.lib.sfu.ca/.

Chronological Engineering Physics Files series

Series consists of records from Engineering Physics. It includes documentation organized roughly according to year. These documents relate to class enrollment, course outlines, interdepartmental memoranda, surveys, reunion materials, class lists, reports, and brochures.

This series is arranged based on the chronological system followed by Engineering Physics. The folders are named according to the names and dates given in hanging files by Engineering Physics and appear to be collected by Professor Edward Auld. Note that files do not exist for each year, and in some instances, the folders include a broader range of years than is identified by the title initially given by Engineering Physics.

City Government series

This series includes notes, research, newspaper clippings, and correspondence relating to Vancouver politics, as well as Gibson's run for Mayor.

Civic Arts Committee series

Series consists of records specifically from the Civic Arts Committee of the Community Arts Council of Vancouver. In addition, it includes minutes and records relating to various projects, such as downtown development, transportation and city streets.

Class Notes / Lecture Notes series

Series consists of an accumulation of lecture notes, syllabi, seminars, exams, reports, articles, case reviews, and correspondence from classes Bourne taught. The series is arranged in alphabetical order according to the subject.

Cliff Erosion Task Force series

Series consists of written submissions and other materials collected by Stanley Weston of the Cliff Erosion Task Force, and includes correspondence, reports, and printed materials. See general notes field for further background on Stanley Weston.

Clippings series

Series consists of newspaper and magazine clippings, photocopied articles, website printouts, other published items, and manuscripts. It is arranged in three sub-series: Pieces by Schlesinger, Pieces about Schlesinger, and Other Pieces. Files are maintained in chronological order. Some items may have been initially included in the volumes described in the Scrapbooks series and are now re-filed here.

Clippings series

The series consists of clippings from newspapers and magazines and includes examples of Chongs’s published fiction and non-fiction writing and reviews of his books.

Clippings series

Series consists of newspaper clippings about sports, sports periodicals, and writings on various sports techniques. Series includes clippings of Gnup's column, "Gnupermania," from The Courier. Series also includes photocopies and clippings of newspaper articles that refer to the late Frank Gnup and would have been added to his papers after his death in 1976.

Cli-Red series

Series consists of transparencies in cardboard frames and drafts, notes, finished papers, charts, data, and published articles.

Coal research series

Series consists of hand-written notes (including one notebook), reports from UBC and the government about coal research, minutes primarily from the Coal Committee, and a UBC interdepartmental memorandum, including one from the Science Council of BC. The memorandum file has related information to the minutes' file.

Colbeck Collection series

Series documents the acquisition and cataloguing of the Norman Colbeck collection and contains a photocopy of the catalogue's original manuscript, correspondence, and minutes of the Colbeck Catalogue Committee. Also included is some of Colbeck's correspondence that had come into Fredeman's possession.

Colbeck Materials – Student Work series

Series consists of bibliographic descriptions for the Colbeck Collection created by Library Science class 662 for Professor Stokes. The files are arranged by student last name, author name or when the creator or student name is not known by the original folder name.

Collaboration series

This series consists of records related to Craddock and TRIUMF’s visits to and from and consultation with other physics facilities and accelerator programs. Records include programs, queries, research notes, and correspondence.

Colleagues and Personnel series

Series consists of records relating to people who worked for and with Copp in the Department of Physiology at the University of British Columbia and colleagues from across Canada and the world. Types of materials include correspondence, lecture and presentation notes, article outlines and drafts, work and research plans, and resumes. Files are arranged alphabetically by the last name.

Collected Poems series

Series consists of various collections of poems in the draft, revised draft, printers copy, and published form. Most collections have at least two versions, and many include incomplete and annotated versions. Many of the collections have been published, including Lines in the Dark Wood, Vancouver Moods, and Wings of the Black Swan.

Collectibles series

Series consists of cigarette card and autograph albums, a box of Chinese leaf paintings, a pair of ivory blades, and publications collected by members of the Warren Family.

Collective Bargaining Records series

Series consists of correspondence, memos, faculty lists, draft reports, arbitration documentation, personal notes of salary negotiations, salary investigation reports and statistics. The records document the formation of a faculty bargaining unit at UBC and the monitoring of salary levels in the university sector by UBC. Series arranged in chronological order.

College and University College records series

Series consists of correspondence, reports, brochures, and other textual records relating to Wynn's supervisory and advisory role over the University College of the Cariboo and the Okanagan College's granting Arts degrees through the University of British Columbia. The series also includes records about Wynn's input regarding programs and policies at other colleges in British Columbia. Series is arranged into the following three sub-series: University College of the Cariboo (Cariboo College) files (1989-1994), Okanagan College files (1989-1994), and General colleges records (1989-1996).

College And University Papers series

The series consists of materials documenting Spaulding's academic scholarship and career and includes course and lecture notes, published articles, correspondence, CVs, and drafts (handwritten and typescript). It is arranged in the sub-series Pomona/Stockton Numbered Files, Other College Files, Toward Dissertation & Dissertation I, and Lectures and Other Professional Papers.
The physical arrangement is primarily based on Spaulding's original file organization. Many original folders have important supporting information, presumably written by Spaulding.

Columbia University series

Series consists of materials that document Chong’s time in the creative writing programme at Columbia University and includes correspondence and course materials.

Commerce/Sauder Name Change series

Series consists of records which document the Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration changing its name to the Sauder School of Business in 2003 after the donation of a $20 million endowment by William L. Sauder. It consists of correspondence, reports, and a video recording of the announcement of Sauder’s donation and the resulting name change. It is arranged in chronological order.

Commissions and Committee Work series

This series includes records from Symonds participation on various planning-related commissions and committees. Most prominently this includes the Vancouver City Planning Commission in which Symonds served as Executive Coordinator until 1983. Other pertinent examples include the National Capital Commission, Goals for Vancouver (part of the Vancouver City Planning Commission), and the B.C. Place Citizens Advisory Committee and others. One file of photographs is present which mainly depicts Symonds with fellow employees or committee members.

Series consists of minutes, correspondence, and reports related to Wynn's participation in various university and external committees.
