Album consists of photographs from Western Canada, but primarily of scenes and people in Gleichen, Alberta. The album has photographs of C.P.R. railroad locomotives and stations. The creator of the album is unidentified although he identifies family members in a number of photographs and was perhaps a C.P.R. employee or was a relative of C.P.R. employees.

Alaska cruise photographs

This album consists of photographs taken by Lawrence Crawford during a 1938 cruise to Alaska, including photographs of Wrangell, Juneau and Skagway, Alaska. Also present are photographs of the S.S. Prince Rupert, the C.P. R.M.S. Empress of Japan docked at Vancouver harbour, and the remains of Pier D after it was destroyed by fire.
