Textual records consist of gold commissioner's court documents, receipts, certificate of the assignment of a placer mining claim, grants for placer mining, free miner's certificate, certificates of work, correspondence, Canadian Bank of Commerce and Bank of British North America checks, Canadian gold rush centennial maps, postcard, British Yukon Navigation Co. Ltd pass, and White Pass & Yukon Railway first class ticket.

Contains two prints mounted on same sheet of paper, on recto (PH-63) is steamer Dawson in partly ice-covered waterway, verso (PH-64) shows deck area, possibly the Steamer Dawson, but could be a different boat.

Harry L. Suydam stamped on verso, some contain handwritten captions on verso. Included with album is small informational page on Hazel Achison (1894-1898)-- find a grave memorial. 'Four year old Hazel was the first of many who died during a major epidemic of cerebro-spinal meningitis in 1898.' Signatures on photograph and mats match that of Asahel Curtis, presumably the creator of these photographs.
