An album of photographs from throughout Canada, with a few from the United States as well. The photos do not appear to be in an order that suggests a journey, but are perhaps from different trips across the country. The album spine is totally gone, but the photos are still in fairly good shape.

Snapshots Victoria B.C.

A photo album from a British Columbian woman known only as K.B.S. Predominantly family snapshots, as well as photos of travels throughout British Columbia, including Salt Spring Island, Shawnigan Lake, and Victoria. The cover of the leather album is adorned with an image of an Aboriginal chief and a simple landscape. Photos and album are still in good condition. The first large number of images are captioned, but towards the end most are not.

An album of photographs taken by an English visitor mostly of various places and views throughout Vancouver, plus a few of Niagara Falls. The album has been disassembled and is housed in a box. There are 67 original albumen prints in plastic sleeves, with silver gelatin copies and their negatives attached to each one. There are also seven modern reproductions.

An album of photographs by different photographers from throughout Canada and the United States. Likely an album compiled by an individual documenting their travels. Housed in a red souvenir album, the photos and book are still in fairly good, though varying, condition. There are four loose images tucked in the front that are described as being “Collodion Silver Emulsion (printing out paper) toned with gold and platinum”.

A photo album documenting the world travels of a Canadian family. They appear to have spent time living in Ontario as well as British Columbia, and travelled extensively. The photos are well captioned and dated, and often include individual names. The album and photos are still in generally good shape.

[Canada and United States Travel Album]

An album of what appears to a trip taken by "A.H. Starkey, Miss Starkey, and Miss A.M. Cory" of England, throughout North America by rail in 1894. The first mounted photograph is captioned with a newspaper clipping about them being visitors to the city. The album contains photographs, from various photographers, adhered to the page as well as nine loose images in the front, and a small selection of menus and other textual material. The album and the images are in very good condition.

Scenes By The Way

An album of photographs taken by an unknown photographer, believed to be of their family and travels. Also included are some additional photographs, postcards, and a typed text of a speech on the subject of female suffrage that was delivered in Seattle. The location where most of the photographs were taken is unknown, but appear to be throughout the United States and Canada, with a few depicting Quesnel, British Columbia, which may have been home to the family. The slim album and the photographs are in good condition.

An album of photographs, some credited to L. Madeleine or Holliday (Charles William Holliday) and the remainder are snapshots, most of which are captioned. The images depict scenes throughout Canada, with an emphasis on Quebec. The album is in excellent shape, though many of the snapshots are badly faded.

[Abramson Family Album]

A family album that comes from the estate of one Mr. Abramson, a former Consul General of the United States to Canada. The photos are from throughout British Columbia and California, in Kelowna in particular. Most of the images are captioned, but many are too faded to be fully legible. There is some significant damage to the album and some of the photographs. One negative is also tucked into the album.
