The fonds consists of papers, reports, printed material, essays and photographs created and acquired by Parminter in the course of his time as a student, professor and regional inspector, as well as some personal items. The fonds is divided into three series: Regional Inspector of Indian Schools, University of British Columbia and Research/Miscellaneous Material. The fonds had no discernable original order associated with them and so the archivist decided to arrange them by series.

Fonds consists of materials documenting the lives and careers of Lorne and May Brown and includes two self-published biographies (Lorne Brown Remembered and May Brown – A collection of stories), four photographs of Lorne Brown, a newspaper clipping about Camp Deka, and some of Lorne Brown’s UBC personnel records.

Fonds consists of textual records and other materials created or acquired in Samuel Laycock's life and career and includes correspondence, manuscripts, photographs, photograph albums, diaries, course materials, published materials, and personal memorabilia. It is arranged in the following series: Writing, Personal, Correspondence, Subject Files, "The Family Life and Sex Education Information Service" (OTENA series), Educational Research Institute of British Columbia (ERIBC series) Survey, Publications, Photographs, and Memorabilia.

The fonds consists of biographical material, correspondence, files relating to the teaching of geography, copies of articles and reprints, and speeches. The fonds also includes an undated manuscript entitled Freedom in Africa, photographs and audiotapes. There is also a small series of records relating to the College and Faculty of Education (1956-1972).

The fonds consists of correspondence, manuscripts for publications, articles, speeches and reports by Verner, minutes of meetings of UBC and government committees on which Verner sat, and map research materials, 1941-1979. The papers also include almost 200 photographs, mostly snapshots, of Verner, friends and colleagues dating from the 1920s to 1979 and over 400 historical maps of North America, the Arctic and Asia, 1550-19__. Professor Verner organized his files into three subject areas relating to his work and interests: Personal, ca. 1921-1979, Adult Education, 1940s-1978, and Cartography, 1949- 1979. This arrangement has been maintained. Files within the three series are organized into sub-series, the order reflecting as closely as could be ascertained the original order of the papers as set up by Verner. In some cases this was difficult to determine as the materials were received as separate accessions over a number of years. In most cases the files are identified as Verner labeled them.
