Most of the series are based on published works written or edited by New. The remaining records relate to other projects, prizes, awards, papers, conferences, correspondence, or professional interests. Collectively, these records reflect New's various roles as professor, public speaker, editor, author, and poet.

The fonds consist of research material on various medical and historical topics and research for several of Gibson's books and articles, including his books about UBC's first president Frank F. Wesbrook, Ramon y Cajal Sherrington, and his books New Endeavour and Old Endeavour. In addition, the fonds include manuscripts of a number of Gibson articles and speeches and chapters from some of his books, records from Woodward Health Science centre, and documents for the history of the Faculty of medicine and related to Green College UBC and Oxford. Throughout his education and political careers, the records were generated by William Bruneau and relate both to personal and professional interests.

The fonds consists of correspondence, lecture notes, reference clippings, student notebooks, programs, newsletters, certificates, musical scores, receipts, pamphlets, and books produced and received by Wilfrid Sadler during his student days at Macdonald College and his professional activities as a professor in the Department of Dairying from 1918. The Department of Dairying was part of the Faculty of Agriculture from 1916 to 1955.

Series consists of correspondence, minutes, reports, and published maps relating to the Special Advisory Committee on Wilderness Preservation, which advised the provincial government to manage wilderness areas in B.C., in particular, the Spatsizi-Stikine and Tatshenshini-Alsek regions.

The fonds consists of manuscript material, including text and sketches, for an unpublished work by MacDonald entitled Trees of Canada. In addition, the fonds includes 222 sketches of non-Canadian trees as well as two sketchbooks containing pressed leaves.

The fonds consist of records relating to Clemens' research and his positions with the Pacific Biological Station of the Biological Board of Canada and the University of British Columbia and material relating to the research activities of other scholars in the areas of oceanography, fisheries and zoology. The first Paperny Films independent production, Whisky Man: Inside the Dynasty of Samuel Bronfman (1996), is a documentary about the enigmatic founder of Seagram’s, the world’s largest distillery. Immigrating with his family to Saskatchewan and later Manitoba, Samuel Bronfman turned a family hotel and bar business into a brewery empire. Hosted by television journalist Ann Medina and directed by David Paperny. Interview subjects include several Bronfman family members, including Edgar Bronfman (son), Charles Bronfman (son), Sam Bronfman Jr. (son), Edgar Jr. Bronfman (grandson), as well as Canadian senator Leo Kolber, former Prime Minister of Israel Shimon Peres, Former Mayor of Jerusalem Teddy Kollek, and Scottish Whiskey Baron Ivan Straker.

Subseries consists of records relating to the signing of the Western Accord, also referred to as the Agreement of Natural Gas Pricing. The sub-series includes correspondence, newspaper clippings, and a copy of the Agreement on Natural Gas Markets and Prices signed by Prime Minister Mulroney. The sub-series also includes research materials on Carney's participation in the Western Accord, including memoranda, articles and other materials. Four videos on the signing of the Agreement - predominantly nightly television news clippings.

Fonds consists of textual records documenting the origins and early history of the Vancouver/Westcoast Women’s Network and includes the organization’s constitution, copies of its newsletter (1981-90), membership directories, brochures and other promotional material, newspaper clippings, correspondence, and meeting agendas and minutes.

In this New Classics Christmas Special (2003), Chef Rob Feenie and sous-chef Marnie host West Coast Christmas at a beautiful and wild resort in Tofino on the West Coast of Vancouver Island. The fonds consists of two series: the Roma Research series and a Publications series composed of copies of Cohn's publications. The first series includes material generated or collected by Cohn in the course of researching Roma. It includes audiotaped interviews of Rom with notebooks containing descriptions and analysis of the conversations; a computer-generated inventory of kinship ties among hundreds of North American Roma; a transcript of a New York trial (1962) of a Roma fortune teller; miscellaneous printed and published materials on Roma, collected by Cohn; and materials from a correspondence course for learning Romani (1969/70). The research series also contains photographs (1968-74) of Roma taken by Cohn throughout North America and Europe. The Publications series includes copies of Cohn articles (1959-1993) and a bibliography of his works (1950-1993).

The collection consists of a series of interviews carried out by Michael Welton with various friends and colleagues of Watson Thomson as part of his dissertation research for "To Be and Build the Glorious World: The Educational Thought and Practice of Watson Thomson, 1899-1946" (1983).

The Wartime Information Board was established in 1942 to coordinate the government's existing public information services and supervise the release of information in or to any country outside of Canada. The Board wound up operations in September 1945.
The material covered 1942-1945 and was divided into two sections: 1942, 1944 and 1944-1945, when the Wartime Information Board became the Canadian Information Service. The two sections are independent of each other, and their different filing systems have been maintained. Each box contains correspondence much is of a general, functional nature and does not represent the official Chairman's correspondence. There are also minutes and working papers of the W.I.B./E.I.S., the Canada Aid to Russia and the Rehabilitation Committee. It is only through the minutes and working papers that the actual operation of the Board is reflected.

The fonds consists of family papers, genealogical material, manuscripts and correspondence documenting the history of the Warren family in England. Some of the family members represented in the fonds are Reverend Dawson Warren, Falkland G.E. Warren, and Charlotte Jackson. The fonds also includes biographical information about Harry Warren and copies of his publications to 1978.

The fonds consists of one series of architectural drawings of UBC buildings drawn between 1914 and 1941. There are 70 architectural plans in 20 sets that are arranged by the building title in alphabetical order, followed by plans for manholes, steam lines and block plans of the campus. Architectural drawings consist of the mechanical, vacuum and heating systems of individual UBC buildings and block drawings of the campus. The majority of prints are wash-off prints, printed on drafting linen, but a few are on transparent architectural paper.

Fonds consists of records documenting Walter Harrington's administrative and committee activities at the University, and includes correspondence, minutes, and reports. The records are arranged in three series: Safety, Security, and Fire Prevention Committee series, Library series, and CACUL Committee on Academic Status for Librarians series.

The fonds primarily consists of textual records, including correspondence, reports, minutes, and published materials which together document Walter Hardwick's political and academic careers. They are arranged in series and sub-series based largely on his areas of activity and interest. The series are Urban Planning, Urban Planning Publications, Vancouver City Council, Open Learning Agency / Knowledge Network, Ministry of Education, Vancouver Urban Futures Project, Sumas Waste Processing Plant Environmental Review, Personal Papers, Essays, Reports and Reprints, and Subject Files. Photographs of architects' models for False Creek and Granville Island are also included. The fonds also includes videotapes consisting mainly of interview footage.

Fonds consists of one file folder of materials collected or acquired by W. Orson Banfield during his time at UBC, including event programmes, correspondence, and a matriculation certificate; and six photographs documenting the 1922 Great Trek.

Series consists of records documenting the history of the Volkov/Vokkoff family and includes correspondence, a cloth mail-bag which once held much of the correspondence, official documents such as passports and marriage certificates, hand-written accounts of family history by Mikhail Mikhailovich Volkoff, transcriptions of correspondence and family history manuscripts translated into English from the original Russian, and digital copies of these transcriptions stored on CDs. Files are arranged in chronological order. Many manuscripts, correspondence, and official documents are written in Russian (Cyrillic alphabet). Some official documents originating from Harbin, Manchuria, are written in Chinese. Some manuscripts are hand-bound.

Fonds consists of records documenting the history of the Volkoff family, in particular the life and career of George Volkoff. It includes manuscripts, correspondence, research notes, academic records and other official documentation, certificates, published items, photographs (black and white prints of various sizes, black and white 35mm negatives, and digital scans from original prints), memorabilia, and digital media. The fonds is arranged in the following series: Personal – George and Olga Volkoff, Research and Reports, Published Articles, Volkoff Family History, and Photographs.

Series consists of materials especially related to volcanic research, which have been filed based on specific topics such as neogene basalts, ironmask basolith, and andesitic volcanism. Otherwise, this series includes maps and drawings, related correspondence, hand-written notes, reference material, published and unpublished works, and one newspaper clipping.

The Vladimir Krajina records series consists of Curriculum Vitaes, a list of publications, articles, correspondence, a letter of reference, newspaper clippings, notes, a legacy biography and an obituary. The correspondence is principally about Krajina's responsibilities as a professor at UBC, but a letter is present that references prison sentences of associates in 1979. Another letter is a photocopy from the Canadian prime minister's office addressed to Krajina dated 1977. Boxes: 9-10.

The fonds consists of a copy of the society's constitution (1976), newsletters (1970-1997), correspondence (1973-1985), publications (1969-1984), and audio and video tapes and films (1975-1983).

Series consists of textual and photographic records documenting the work of Sheppard and others with CALP in relating environmental and aesthetic concerns in public perceptions of forestry and forest management, focusing on Weyerhaeuser's cutting practices, including variable selection logging and other selective logging methods. Records include published studies, reports, correspondence, related textual materials, and slides showing aerial and landscape views illustrating forestry practices and environmental aesthetics used in public presentations.

Photographs (prints, slides, transparencies and negatives), drawings, and published and unpublished maps. Series is divided into subseries: Americas, Africa & Oceanic, and original negatives. Visual materials can be found in other series, notably in the professional activities and research materials series. Items in Box 64 were acquired in 2021.

Subseries consists of two copies of Friedman's Visual Anatomy the 1950-52 edition (2 vols.) published by Charles C. Thomas and the 1970-72 edition (3 vols.) published by Harper & Row. Each volume is autographed on the title page by the author.

Series includes administrative files relating to the Visiting Junior Scholar Program and each scholar's files. The scholars' files include correspondence, CVs, research proposals, interest statements, and reference letters. The administrative files consist of correspondence, agendas, schedules, notes and University paperwork. Series is arranged chronologically by year of the program and then alphabetically by scholar.

Note: The Visiting Junior Scholar Program existed from 1999-2003 and has been replaced by the Wall Summer Institute for Research Program.

The subseries consists of videotaped exhibits compiled for the APEC PCC and other amateur and news videos of actions at UBC and Downtown Vancouver concerning APEC. The videos include helicopter and night vision footage of downtown and UBC, news coverage of APEC and the protests at UBC, and RCMP video footage of the event at UBC.

Series consists of filmed lectures, speeches, colloquia, receptions and presentations at the Peter Wall Institute or related to research funded by the Institute.
