Series contains Morris Panych receiving the Governor General's Literary Award for Drama, in honour of his work Girl in the Goldfish Bowl (2004), promotional photographs from Billy Bishop Goes to War (1986), undated promotional pictures, and personal negatives. Some are dated 1986, although the majority are not dated.

The Photographs series contains a small number of black and white images of various Faculty of Medicine openings, special events, ceremonies, displays, exhibits, buildings and facilities.
Most of the photographs were found unorganized in a storage box and were not separated from files of textual material. The sole exception is the photographs of the Faculty's "Safeguarding Motherhood" exhibit at the 1960 Pacific National Exhibition. These images were separated from textual material found in the General Office Files series.

The series includes images of a Symposium on Legal Education held at U.B.C. in October 1949 at which many distinguished legal scholars spoke. An oversize photograph of Mark Harcourt is located in the Archives vault.
Part of Norman A.M. MacKenzie fonds
The series consists of photographs, slides and negatives dating from 1900 to 1977. Most of the earlier photographs (1908-1924) are of MacKenzie and his fellow students at Pictou Academy and Dalhousie University. The photographs from 1924 to 1943 show MacKenzie in the various positions he held, including as the representative of the International Law Association, legal advisor to the International Labour Office, professor at the University of Toronto and president of the University of New Brunswick. Photographs from 1944 to 1962 are primarily of MacKenzie in his role as president of the University of British Columbia; of others associated with the University, of UBC buildings; many important visitors to the campus including Queen Elizabeth, Eleanor Roosevelt, and foreign dignitaries; and of MacKenzie's friends and family.

Series consists of a selection of photographs removed from six photo albums from 1912-1937 and 1977. The photographs mainly document glacier formations in B.C., the Yukon, and various fieldwork projects from volcanic activity to Mammoth Skull in Hudson Hope, B.C. The photographs were individually chosen based on hand-written information about their relative/exact location and sometimes date. Negatives have been retained in their original order of those photographs in the photo albums and are held in Boxes 8 and 9.

Series consists of photographs documenting the state of mining equipment and technology through Howard's early career while working summers at Geraldton (Hard Rock Mines) and La Marque in Quebec (1937-1940) and during his equipment sales career with E. Lory of Orillia (1940-1942). Photographs from Howard's Eldorado career depict the mining operations and capture some of the personal and social life in this remote mining community near the Arctic Circle. There are also a few photographs of laboratories and buildings at UBC and some scenes around the University.
