Series consists of records pertaining to the Maracle’s involvement in several Aboriginal associations and organizations, such as the Native Council of Canada, American Indians United and the Union of B.C. Indian Chiefs. Records include correspondence, meeting minutes, flyers, clippings, newsletters, notices, briefs, financial records, reports, proposals, speeches and publications.

Other Organizations

Series consists of records pertaining to other associations and services, most of them private and non-Aboriginal, with which the BCANSI and other Aboriginal associations that the Maracles were involved in associated with through business and other matters. Series also includes records pertaining to the Maracles involvement in several Native religious organizations and the Seventh Day Adventist Church, and Kitty’s work with several organizations in her role as a counsellor. Records include correspondence, reports, minutes, notes, newspaper clippings, publications, financial records and photographs.
