Fonds consists of records relating to the activities of the Graduate Student Society and its predecessor bodies and is arranged into the following series: Constitution, Bylaws and Related Records series (1969-1988), General Correspondence series (1973-1994), Committees series (1961-1995), Board of Directors (Graduate Student Society) series (1970-1982), Council (Graduate Student Society) series (1983-1998), Graduate Representative Assembly series (1968-1982), Board of Directors (Graduate Student Centre) series (1970-1982), Board of Governors (UBC) series (1969-1982), Faculty of Graduate Studies series (1969-1983), Financial Records series (1968-1990), Membership Records series (1961-1984), Events and Activities series (1961-1984), General Administrative Records series (1977-1991), Food Services series (1985-1986), Surveys, Reports and Reviews series (1975-1995), Publications series (1966-1984), and Subject Files series (1973-1998).

The fonds consist of correspondence, minutes, manuscripts, annual reports, and financial records relating to the Institute of Pacific Relations activities, particularly William Holland's varied roles as I.P.R. Research Secretary, AIPR Executive Secretary I.P.R. Secretary-General, and Editor of Pacific Affairs. Also included are court documents, transcripts, reports and publications relating to the investigations of the I.P.R. and its staff completed by the United States government, including photocopies of F.B.I. files, reports of the McCarran Subcommittee, and publications of the Special Committee to Investigate Tax-Exempt Foundations and Comparable Organizations.

Fonds consists copies of the constitution, minutes (1965-1975), correspondence (1965-1975), membership records (1967-1974), accounts and financial reports (1966-1973) and various newsletters and reports. A subject series is also present.

The fonds consists of the minutes of nine meetings of the University Graduates' Society in 1904.

The fonds consists of records dating from 1907 to 2008, which provide a unique source of information particularly about student-related matters such as grades, university admissions, graduation and examinations. In addition to records generated by the Registrar's Office itself, there are also Faculty records (1915-1963) which were probably maintained by the Registrar who served as the secretary to Senate. The Registrar’s Office also maintained the records of the Senate’s committees, reports, and elections (1912-1930). There are also records related to the Sopron Division of the Faculty of Forestry (1957-2007). These records include handwritten transcripts and correspondence. The records have been largely retained in their physical order in which they were acquired - as a result, records from different series are often inter-filed together, making it difficult to distinguish them with any accuracy. The records on microfilm include correspondence, student registration cards, academic records, and information on scholarships and bursaries dating from 1913 to 1968. The Registrar's Office also collected copies of student examinations. In 1993 copies of student examinations from 1915 to 1969 were microfilmed and the originals destroyed.

The fonds consists of correspondence and ledgers for the UBC Development Fund (1957-1958) and its successor the Tri-Universities Capital Fund (1958-1976).

Fonds consists of records which document the administration of the Centre, including the records of the Management Committee (1962-70) and the Board of Directors (1971-81), and include minutes, reports, and correspondence.

This fonds consists of lists of lecturers, curriculum vitae, minutes, newspaper clippings and photographs; it is divided between administrative and lectures series.

The fonds consist of records relating to the founding and running of the Health Sciences Historical Society and documents relating to the running of the B.C. branch of the Canadian Society for the study of the History of Science and Philosophy of Science. This includes drafts and copies of the Society’s constitution, correspondence, newsletters, meeting minutes, agenda, mailing lists, reports, a lecture transcript, and a notebook recording event attendees with programs and menus stapled in. The order that the fonds were kept at Woodward Library has been retained.
