The fonds consists of records relating to Charlesworth's tenure as secretary of the BCTF and member of the WFEA. His philosophy of education is related in his personal diary, drafts of addresses, and typescripts of two World Federation speeches, "The World Federation of Education Association: Its Past Work and Future Plans" and "Educational Frontiers of the New World."

The fonds consist of correspondence, speeches, research notes, and articles on various issues, such as discrimination, inequality of women, affirmative action, and sexual assault. There are nine series, which include: biographical information with day planners as a sub-series, committees, conferences, correspondence, lecture material, politics, printed material with Being Brown: Autobiography and African Canadian as sub-series, speeches, subject files, photographs, and audio/visual.

Fonds documents the administrative, financial and publication activities of the LHA, including the production of the film "For Twenty Cents a Day"; the slide-sound programs "These Were the Reasons..."and "Strike", both about the history of union organizing in BC; and ten issues of the journal "Labour History". Records include meeting minutes, correspondence, financial records and related material pertaining to the activities of the LHA.

The fonds consists of manuscript copies of "Education in the Bulkley Valley" and "University Extension School of the '30's", both written in the 1930s. The fonds also includes a transcript of her memoirs about her life in the Bulkley Valley, 1914-1962. Relating mainly to pioneers in the Aldermere, Telkwa, Round Lake, and Hubert areas of B.C., the manuscript served as a regional gazetteer of local history and has been published as Rubber Boots for Dancing.

Fonds reflects Blondal's personal life and work as a writer, radio broadcaster, university student and researcher whose interests include religion, philosophy, psychology and criminology in the 1940s and 1950s. Records are arranged into four series, spanning from about 1929 to 1963, including documents that were added by her husband following her death in 1959.

Series consists of records pertaining to the educational and professional activities of Dorothy Whitham-Zoellner. Series includes records such as notebooks, papers and articles, scripts, correspondence, official documents and certificates, reunion books, and photographs.

Series consists of correspondence records from the Whitham, Clements, and Zoellner families. Correspondence includes those that were received by various family members as well as those that were sent among family member. Series includes records such as letters, postcards, official documents, and ephemera. Some photos are pasted into pages of text and have not yet been separated. All photos, even those associated with correspondence files have been numbered as part of the family photographs series (12.2).

The fonds consists of a photograph album received from graduating students of Glenmere High School, Slocan City, 1946. Fonds includes photographs and cards mounted in the album.

The sous-fonds consists of miscellaneous personal correspondence and notes regarding Dr. Slaymaker's research interests. The Miscellaneous series is the only series in the sous-fonds.
