The collection consists of duplicate copies of Community Arts Council of Vancouver (CACV) records given to Melva Dwyer. The records are made up of two series. The first includes general material about the organization - Annual Reports (1953-1956, 1967), Special Projects (1955-1967) including reports of the Vancouver Festival Society, Council Briefs and records from the British Columbia Arts Resources Conferences (1957-1960). The second series comprises records specifically from the Civic Arts Committee of the Community Arts Council of Vancouver.

The fonds includes correspondence, minutes, reports, published materials, and photographs. It spans the period between 1957 and 1972, falling within the tenure of Dean Helen McCrae. The material is arranged in the following series: Committee Records, Dean's Records, Women's Residence Records, Handbook Staff and Programmes, Associated Organizations and Social Activities.

The records of the Department of Athletics and Recreation fonds are representative of the athletics side of the Department of Athletics and Recreation. While athletics and recreation fall under the same department, in practice, they operate independently of one another. Their textual records are also physically held at separate locations. Surviving records in the Department of Athletics and Recreation fonds are broadly representative of the achievements of UBC athletes and teams. Far less extensive, are the types of administrative documents produced or accumulated in the course of the day-to-day business of the department. Examples of records present in the fonds include programs, historical research, scrapbooks, newspaper clippings, team rosters, scoresheets, profile write-ups, yearbooks, media guides, correspondence, agendas, training schedules, coaching handbooks, travel itineraries, and ephemera.
The Department of Athletics and Recreation fonds is arranged in the following series; Athletics photographs, Athletics History, Baseball, Basketball, Athletic Events (including Big Block, Hall of Fame, and Millennium Breakfast), Cross Country Track and Field, Field Hockey, Football, Golf, Ice Hockey, Media & Promotions, Assorted Sports, Other Sports (which includes Skiing, Sailing, Tennis, Gymnastics, Rowing and Wrestling), Rugby, Soccer, Swimming and Volleyball.

The fonds consists of printed programs (1963-1969, 1971) and un-dated broadside copies of poems.

Fonds consists of newspaper clippings about Homecoming 1961, and programmes documenting 1965 graduating class events and activities.

The fonds consists of Haig-Brown’s memorabilia from her time at UBC from 1953 to 1956 and includes printed/published materials and ephemera.

Fonds consists of one file folder of materials collected or acquired by W. Orson Banfield during his time at UBC, including event programmes, correspondence, and a matriculation certificate; and six photographs documenting the 1922 Great Trek.

Fonds consists of administrative records pertaining to the activities of the Women’s Studies Program, the Centre for Research in Women’s Studies and Gender Relations, and research papers put out by the Centre and related bodies. Records include correspondence, minutes, annual reports, publications, course lists, student activities, program advertisements, reviews, bound publications of working papers and conference proceedings.
