Series includes manuscripts/typescripts, correspondence, maps, notes, research materials, and ephemera associated with published and unpublished fiction and non-fiction projects. Major projects are Hunter’s unpublished novel: “Guilty As Sin,” his autobiography: “Being One: Scenes from a Screenwriter’s Life” and an unpublished book documenting the 1974 murder of Hunter’s parents titled “Next of Kin.”
Series includes materials related to Hunter’s various produced and unproduced television projects.
Series includes biographical information about John Hunter, including lists of awards, résumé, obituaries, early rejection letters, cartoons, and his undergraduate thesis.

It also includes some maps from Grace’s research trips. Material is grouped into sections: bibliographic references, biographical/genealogical, research notes by archival institutions, notes by theatre, and notes by-product. Correspondence and publishing contracts related to Grace’s publication of Hubbard’s autobiography.
Photographic material from Lowry-related events and images from the production of Grace’s volumes of Lowry’s letters. Digital copies of the Lowry letters and Grace’s works are included on floppy disk .

The fonds consists of records about Dr. Breen’s precedent-setting suit against Hancock House Publishing and Edwin Gould for copyright infringement of his doctoral thesis. These documents include court filings, notes, and rulings related to the lawsuit. The fonds also consist of records and materials related to the Asian-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) protests of 1997, including Dr. Breen’s involvement, with both formal and informal documentation and complaints filed with the commission.

Legal Correspondence subseries
Includes correspondence between David Breen and his legal counsel, his notes on these conversations, and correspondences between David Breen’s legal counsel and the defendants. Materials are arranged chronologically.
Fonds consists of the handwritten manuscript for George Bulhak’s book U.B.C. Panorama, published in 1945. Included are photographs and sketches by Bulhak intended for inclusion in the book and U.B.C. President N.A.M. MacKenzie’s handwritten “Foreword.” The manuscript was written in what was originally a bound ledger – isolated ledger entries can be found on the otherwise blank back pages, indicating that it may have been left as surplus at Burhak’s place of employment when he used it for his manuscript.

Fonds consists of two Senate reports from 1961 and 1962 relating to fraternities and sororities on the UBC campus and a copy of McCrae's speech on sororities during a Panhellenic workshop in 1972.

Pieces by Schlesinger subseries
Sub-series consists of written work by Schlesinger, in the form of clippings, periodicals, website printouts, and manuscripts.
Includes a print-out copy of Schlesinger’s Globe & Mail obituary for his wife, Myra Eileen (Mike) Schlesinger.
Series consists of materials documenting the publication and promotion of Schlesinger’s memoir Time Zones: A Journalist in the World, and includes correspondence, clippings, itineraries and brochures for Schlesinger’s promotional tour in support of his book. Files are maintained in chronological order.
Series consists of materials documenting Nicholas Winton’s Kindertransport project and Schlesinger’s involvement in documenting and publicizing the Kindertransport many years later. Winton’s efforts rescued hundreds of Jewish children from European countries under occupation by Nazi Germany in 1938 and 1939 – Joe Schlesinger was one of them, and his name is on the list in File 9-7. Materials include scripts and transcripts for the documentaries Nicholas Winton: The power of good and Nicky’s Children, correspondence, copies of published articles about Winton and the Kindertransport, and related items. Files are maintained in chronological order.
Series consists of photographic prints documenting Schlesinger’s life, career, and travels. Some photographs were taken by Schlesinger, but most were taken by others and show Schlesinger either on foreign assignment or at other events.
Series consists of digital media (3½” floppy disks, CDs, CD-Rs and DVDs) containing items documenting Schlesinger’s life and work, including TV scripts, interview transcripts, typed manuscripts, photographs, and digital video recordings. Various formats, including generic file formats, Word Perfect 5.0, doc (97-2003), tif, jpg, mp3, MPEG, and pdf, are present. Subfonds consists of records that date from 1920 to 2004. These include textual material and photographs, the majority of which were created and accumulated by Esther Paulson. Material pertains to Esther’s education and nursing career, with a number of articles, both by her and others, relating to her interest in tuberculosis nursing. Others document her involvement with various associations and organizations, including the Registered Nurses' Association of British Columbia, the Canadian Nurses' Association, the International Council of Nurses, and the Canadian Tuberculosis Association. The photographs document her life in the East Kootenays and the Kamloops area.
