Scope and content

Series consists of records related to Miki’s activities with several voluntary Japanese Canadian cultural and political organizations, files related to Miki’s research on redress issues, and the records of two other individuals, Cassandra Kobayshi and Randy Enomoto, with whom Miki worked with in the course of his involvement in the redress movement. The series contains agendas and minutes of meetings, correspondence and memoranda, notes and notebooks, drafts of manuscripts, reports, news clippings, published guides, financial reports and proposals, conference programs, transcripts and audio recordings of forum and symposia proceedings, meetings, and other events, research material including articles and essays, serials, legislation and other records. The series documents the Japanese Canadian redress movement generally and Miki’s work in that movement particularly.
