File consists of photographs of Hanne’s sculptural creations. The majority of her sculptures are representations of animals — Dolphins, lions, penguins, and more — but she also sculpted: human figures (including her husband), book ends, bowls, and a range of nature scenes.

Physical condition

Materials in this file are in moderately good condition. However, the envelopes and metadata papers are very brittle. Some of the envelopes have broken or partially crumbled. Items PH-3950 to 4006 do not show signs of vinegar syndrome but may have picked up a mildly sour odor due to prolonged storage with negatives that did have vinegar syndrome.

Immediate source of acquisition

Most of the items in this file (PH-3950 to 4007 and 4160) were donated by the West Vancouver Memorial Library.

Includes: 9 small b&w photographs, 5 medium b&w photographs, and 58 envelopes containing negatives, prints, and/or textual information.

Items PH-3950 to 4006 (and 4160) are each made up of 2-3 composite parts: an envelope with a handwritten title and identification number assigned by the creator; a piece of paper containing handwritten image metadata; and/or one or more b&w cellulose acetate negatives. These large format negatives are approximately 11 x 8 cm.
