This subseries contains newspaper clippings and issues, meeting minutes, and Seaholm's research notes about the Swedish Press, a newspaper based out of Vancouver, but published in Swedish. Subseries also contains microfilmed versions of issues of the Swedish Press (some under its Swedish title Svenska Pressen) from 1929 to 1956.

This series contains copies of the Swedish Pioneer Historical Quarterly from, 1967 to approximately 1976. There is an index included with this series.

won the Governor General’s Award for Poetry in 2002.

The sub-series documents Miki’s participation on award selection committees, his trips abroad, his communications and work with the Canada Council for the Arts, his participation in various literary and political projects, and his dealings with Simon Fraser University, among other subjects. The sub-series contains award certificates presented to Miki, correspondence, notes, reports, travel itineraries, grant applications, research files, articles, essays, and scripts, publication agreements, Miki’s curriculum vitae, news clippings (many featuring Miki), audio recordings of Joy Kogawa speaking and reading and audio and video recordings of Miki speaking, reading, performing, and being interviewed for various radio, television, film and other programs.

The subseries chiefly consists of ministerial records written and/or collected by Lauk, but also contains personal and political papers The records include correspondence and memos, telegrams, reports and briefs, agreements, transcripts, orders and bills, speeches, news releases, newsletters and circulars, newsclippings, notes, photographs, receipts, invitations, and schedules.

The subseries chiefly consists of ministerial records, but also contains personal and political papers in which files are mainly organized alphabetically by subject and roughly arranged in chronological order. Two sets of "General" alphabetic files were created for 1973-74 and 1975, in which other material was filed by name of correspondent or sometimes geographic location or subject.

The records consists of correspondence and memoranda, telegrams, reports and briefs, agreements, transcripts, orders and bills, speeches, news releases, newsletters and circulars, newsclippings, notes, photographs, receipts, invitations and schedules. A number of files are associated with the British Columbia Railway, including agendas and minutes of the Board of Directors (1972-75) and 'Mini Board' (1973-74), annual and monthly reports, and a set of union contracts. These files appear to have been received from another source and integrated into the filing systems.

Additionally, a group of files under the head 'Political' contains material predating Lauk's appointment as Minister and pertains to issues situated in the riding of Vancouver Centre.

Many of the records kept by the Executive Assistants consist of briefs or reports sent to Lauk, which were acknowledged and kept for reference but not acted upon. Other records include economic development reports collected by Eric Green, as well as a collection of volumes relating to the BC Government's Economic Mission to Japan in April 1974. The records include agendas and minutes, newsletters, newsclippings, news releases, speeches, notes, lists, invitations, copies of legislation, transcripts, schedules, photographs, and briefing books.

In addition, there is also a set of records called 'Steel Industry' which includes correspondence with a number of international steel manufacturers, as well as departmental studies, pursuant to engaging in a feasibility study.

Sub-series consists of files on Canadian artists, and on Canadian, American, European, Asian, and African art with a focus on the former.

Sub-series reflects a set of subject files maintained by Mary Bishop on a wide range of topics related to the social, political, and economic dimensions of family planning, birth control, and population growth. The files cover a broad spectrum of these subjects, including families and family planning (adoption, artificial insemination, birth control methods, sex education); population growth and planning (Zero Population Growth, non-governmental organizations); and social issues (child and spousal abuse, aging, unemployment, poverty). A small number of subject files on other topics is also present.

Records contained within the sub-series are mostly newspaper and clippings, and reproductions of articles; also contained within are government publications, pamphlets; and some correspondence.

Subseries includes recordings of Japanese Canadian Redress Committee meetings in Toronto as well as an index to the sound recordings complied by Miki.

Notes and correspondence contained in this sub-series document Miki’s role in organizing the Spirit of Redress conference held in Vancouver in 1987. The sub-series contains transcripts of workshops and presentations from the conference and drafts of the manuscript of the conference proceedings which Miki co-edited with Cassandra Kobayashi and which was published in 1989. The process of compiling and publishing the conference proceedings is also reflected in notes, a grant application, and other documents related to financing the project. The sub-series also contains photographs of conference participants and reproductions of historical photographs related to the internment of Japanese Canadians which appear in the published proceedings. Manuscript drafts follow files related to conference planning and coordination of the publication of the proceedings.

Includes a circa 1942 prospectus of a proposed Fishermen's Cooperative Packing Company in British Columbia.

Subseries consists of records related to speeches that Manson gave and which he did not identify as belonging to a specific area of his life or career or which belong to multiple areas of his life and career.

These records include speech notes and drafts of speeches.

Subseries arose out of an interactive project that Banana conducted out of Germany in the mid-1990s through her Specific Research Institute called “Proof Positive That Germany is Going Bananas” (often shortened to PPTGISB). Using results from what Banana called “Roar Shack Banana Peel Tests”, as well as personality inventory response forms, interviews and other tests, Banana culminated her research into a large report and exhibit of German banana related items published in 1994.

The series consists of tests, reports, press and promotional materials, as well as banana artworks and correspondence that Anna collected over the course of her travels for this project.

Subseries contains files from various small Specific Research Institute projects conducted by Anna Banana, between 1993 and 2015. Many of these were small surveys of “Banana Culture” which Banana carried out while she was staying in certain regions or cities, as well as newsletters and updates regarding SRI activities.

Files are made up of textual records, mostly newsletters or reports, as well as some posters and response forms.

Subseries consists of documents relating to an interactive art project called “But Is It Art?” that Banana carried out throughout various European cities in the late 2000s and early 2010s. Under the auspices of the Specific Research Institute, Banana (in her role as Dr. Anna Freud Banana) would ask participants to show if various (often banana related) items were, in fact, art.

Subseries contains response forms arranged into various city files where Banana conducted her research, as well as travel ephemera, reports, posters and programs, as well as exhibition documents related to the project.

Subseries contains photographs taken by Alan Haig-Brown over various visits to Southern United States, mostly to Louisiana and Texas. The photographs document the fishing and marine industries in the area, including boats and ships, shipyards and crews.

Sub-series documents the annual activities of partner organizations supported by TRAS in South India. Project files contain correspondence, requests for assistance, reports, statements regarding finances, and photographs.

These records include travel itineraries and travel receipts, Christmas cards, thank you cards, anniversary cards, calling cards, invitations, and seating charts.
