Notes addressed to 'Herb' from A.B. (Burt) McNeill regarding some requested information about former Esquimalt and Nanaimo Railway Company employees. He lists a number of names with addresses and job descriptions that he feels may be worthy interview subjects. Also included is some information about facilities culled from Fred Brown's journals.

Day by Day on the Esquimalt and Nanaimo Railway 1887 to 1905

Subtitled: A Chronicle by A.B. McNeill August, 1967. This is a chronicle of events culled from Fred Brown's Daily Journals (see CC-TX-262-5 until CC-TX-265-4) including important time's and special trains. It also pulls out a lot of the workers' names and traces some of the families throughout. It has 432 numbered pages and some additional pages tucked in at the back discernible by the fact that they are not hole-punched. Also includes a microfilm and a photocopy of the first E&N Time Card signed by John Coburn, one of the first conductors.

A small journal with facts and figures compiling railway earnings, expenses, carloads, and commodities. Notes that it was compiled by AB McNeill chief clerk to superintendent, E&N railway. Includes additional information on loose pages tucked inside. Graphs changes from a number of dates stretching from as early as 1906 to as late as 1960.
