The fonds consists of copies of bylaws and constitutions, executive minutes (1951-1964), presidential reports (1954-1964), membership lists (1954-1964), correspondence (1959-1964) and assorted newsletters, clippings and printed material. Also included are small series of records generated by affiliate organizations including International House Association Inc., International House and Friendly Relations with Overseas Students' Council.

The collection consists of correspondence, printed material and clippings which document the early history of the International House movement on campus in the early 1950s. At that time, William Black was acting as faculty advisor to the International House Committee.
