[Abramson Family Album]

A family album that comes from the estate of one Mr. Abramson, a former Consul General of the United States to Canada. The photos are from throughout British Columbia and California, in Kelowna in particular. Most of the images are captioned, but many are too faded to be fully legible. There is some significant damage to the album and some of the photographs. One negative is also tucked into the album.

An album of photographs, some credited to L. Madeleine or Holliday (Charles William Holliday) and the remainder are snapshots, most of which are captioned. The images depict scenes throughout Canada, with an emphasis on Quebec. The album is in excellent shape, though many of the snapshots are badly faded.

File consists of photographs and detached front cover with bookplate of Walter Coucill of an album with images by Charles MacMunn, William Notman, R. Maynard and others; possibly published by T. N. Hibben of Victoria, British Columbia, with photographs of views along the Canadian Pacific Railway in British Columbia and Alberta, including views of Ross Peak and Loop, Bow River, Illecillewaet Glacier, Mount Donald, Ross Peak, Field, Mount Stephen, Hell's Gate in the Fraser Canyon, and snow sheds in Roger's Pass, among others.

[Barkerville & BC Photographs]

Album likely assembled at a later date by a dealer, however many are related to Barkerville, British Columbia, and a fire that destroyed the town in September of 1868. There are also other assorted images including portraits of prominent British Columbians such as James Douglas, and scenes in other small towns throughout the province. Most of the photographs are reproductions from images at the B.C. Provincial Archives and date from 1857 to 1930.

Building Railway Right of Way Nanoose BC

Handwritten notes and hand-drawn map of the rail line between Nanaimo and Englishman's River. The notes include costs and labour figures, as well as an envelope franked Dec 28 1901. Some of the memos are signed by George R. Lawrence, to whom the envelope is also addressed.
