Album consists of photographs relating to the first C.P. R.M.S. Empress of Australia and the second C.P. R.M.S. Empress of Britain's world tours, likely assembled by a female crew member of these ships. Included are photographs of Yokohama, Japan after the earthquake in 1923 and photographs relating to King George VI's tour of Canada in 1939.

Album consists of photographs from Western Canada, but primarily of scenes and people in Gleichen, Alberta. The album has photographs of C.P.R. railroad locomotives and stations. The creator of the album is unidentified although he identifies family members in a number of photographs and was perhaps a C.P.R. employee or was a relative of C.P.R. employees.

Album consists of photographs taken during a journey from Ontario to the Pacific Northwest by C.P.R. railroad and steamship. Many of the photographs are of hospitals, public buildings, churches and schools. They were perhaps taken by Dr. Hertz [?] who is in some of the photographs.

Album consists of photographs of Victoria, Esquimalt and the Saanich Peninsula in British Columbia. The photographs include depictions of a C.P.R. railroad trestle bridge in British Columbia, a portrait of a Chinese--Canadian, and a photo of the first C.P. R.M.S. Empress of Japan steamship. There is also related ephemera in the ten ribbons, ten badges, five pins, three buttons, two postage stamps, a medal, a cloth flower and a cedar twig, collected during the First World War perhaps by a member of the 6th Cyclist Battalion, The Royal Sussex Regiment, Canadian Contingent.

Album consists of photographs depicting of C.P.R. President, W. M. Neal's western inspection tour, accompanied by the Board of Directors of the C.P.R. in 1947. K. Seaton's second C.P. R.M.S. Empress of Britain's world tour album

This album consists of photographs taken by perhaps Ken Seaton during a world cruise on the second C.P. R.M.S. Empress of Britain. With the photographs is a card inscribed: "With best wishes for a happy Xmas from Lily and Ron". The card also has a photograph mounted inside of it of newlywed Ken Seaton and his spouse from Southampton, UK.

The British Columbia Provincial Museum's 1985 exhibition titled The New Highway to the Orient : The Canadian Pacific in British Columbia, 1885-1985 folder

This album consists of a file folder that held pictures mounted on card for the British Columbia Provincial Museum's 1985 exhibition titled The New Highway to the Orient : The Canadian Pacific in British Columbia, 1885-1985. An inscription: "To Wally with my sincere thanks, Bob" is on the inner right side of the folder with a picture of the builder's model of the C.P. R.M.S. Empress of Asia mounted on the folder's verso. The file folder was presented to Dr. W. B. Chung by the museum, curator Robert Turner, in acknowledgement of his assistance in the preparation of the exhibition. Included are two complimentary tickets to the exhibition.

Canadian Pacific Cruises second Empress of Britain's world tour album

A Canadian Pacific Cruises folder that held photographs of the second C.P. R.M.S. Empress of Britain, its crew, passengers, and ports of call, including photographs of the ship in Southampton, Auckland, New Zealand, Melbourne, Australia, Hong Kong, the Panama Canal, and San Francisco with passengers celebrating New Year's Eve and a photograph of a Neptune ceremony held aboard the outer deck.

This album which was assembled by Dr. W. B. Chung consists of photographs of the C.P. R.M.S. Empress of Russia and its service as an ocean liner, an armed merchant cruiser in the First World War and as a war transport ship in the Second World War. The album also includes a news clippings concerning the fire that destroyed the ship, a photograph of the ship on fire, and a photograph of the ship after the fire.

This album consists of the photographs of landscapes, buildings, people, and ships taken on a world tour in the 1890's. Included are photographs of the first C.P. R.M.S. Empress of India coaling in Japan as well as pictures of its deck and passengers. There are also a few photographs of the British Columbia Packing Company's Phoenix Cannery on the Fraser River and of Stanley Park in Vancouver, BC.

Empress to the Orient, Vancouver Maritime Museum Exhibition

This album consists of photographs of the Empress to the Orient exhibition, including photographs of the opening ceremonies with Drs. W. B. and M. H. Chung and William W. Stinson, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Canadian Pacific Limited. The photographs of the exhibition include several of the recreated dining room, grand saloon, and Chinese immigrant quarters displays, as well as many photographs of various artifacts, such as posters, paintings, tableware, and china that were loaned by the Chungs to the museum for the exhibition.

Empress to the Orient, sponsored by Canadian Pacific Limited

This album consists of promotional material for the Empress to the Orient exhibition at the Vancouver Maritime Museum in May 1991 to January 1992. It includes a press kit consisting of a colour poster advertising the exhibition, the notes for remarks by William W. Stinson, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Canadian Pacific Limited, and E. V. Dodge, the Executive Vice-President of Canadian Pacific Rail. The album also consists of a May 6, 1991 press release by the Vancouver Maritime Museum regarding the opening of the exhibition to the public and a communique issued by the Royal Canadian Mint on May 15, 1991, regarding a one hundred dollar commemorative gold coin depicting the C.P. R.M.S. Empress of India. Enclosed within the press kit are fifteen photographs of the exhibition, and an article from the January 1992 issue of Vancouver Magazine.
