Digital Orca photo, Globe and Mail, July 27, 2010

Clipping from page A6 of the Globe and Mail, Tuesday July 27, 2010 with a large photograph of the Digital Orca sculpture. The caption beneath the photo reads: "Tourists converge on the Digital Orca outside Vancouver's Convention Centre Monday. The pixilated sculpture created by artist Douglas Coupland breaks down a three-dimensional Orca whale into cubic pixels."

Digital Orca maquette

This file contains a maquette version of the Digital Orca sculpture created by Coupland. Of particular interest is the variance in the base, as it was altered in the final creation because of engineering logistics and the difference in colour of the maquette.

Partially filled sketchbook

Contains a 5.5"x8.5" sketchbook, of which only about 15 pages have been filled, consisting mostly of calligraphy and other written material.

Orca model

This item is a maquette version of the Digital Orca sculpture created by Coupland and installed at Jack Poole Plaza in 2010.
