Fonds consists of records made and received by the Faculty of Education, with the bulk of the records originating from the Dean's Office within the Faculty of Education. The fonds documents the leadership role of the Office of the Dean (such as the Dean's Annual Report and Dean's Briefing Sessions) and the administrative role of the office (such as "Budget," "Employment," and "Reorganization"). The fonds also contains minutes and other documentation from the Joint Board of Teacher Education, 1963-1983, and the Tri-Ed Committee, from 1966-1982. Other documented activities include course development and syllabi; symposia, workshops and other special events; faculty research files; faculty committee files; documentation from various programs and departments that comprised the Faculty of Education (Undergraduate Studies, Elementary Education, etc.). Textual records are comprised of meeting agendas and minutes, correspondence, reports, publications, and notes. Non-textual records include photographs, architectural plans and drawings, and audio and audio-visual material.

The fonds consists of photographs, as well as reports and printed material relating to the faculty's communications and public affairs programmes, and the faculty's news publication "Ingenuity".

Fonds documents several of Eva-Marie Kröller’s academic projects: her biography of British Columbia author George Bowering, Bright Circles of Colours (Talonbooks, 1992); essays on Roy Kiyooka and Emily Carr; her book Canadian Travellers in Europe, 1851-1900 (UBC Press, 1987); materials relating to her book Writing the Empire: The McIlwraiths, 1853-1948 (2021); an article entitled “Une femme bien en vue”: Adrienne Clarkson and the Media (2014); and an anthology of travel literature that she and historian Pierre Savard were planning, but which was not completed before Savard’s death in 1998 in addition to other various research materials. Also included are documents related to a workshop organized by SATE (Swiss Association of Teachers in English), and correspondence with Canadian authors. The materials consist of textual records (correspondence, notes, drafts, and readers’ reports), published materials, and a 3.5” computer floppy disk containing a digital manuscript of Bright Circles of Colours.

The fonds consists of documentation regarding specific courses, accreditation, correspondence, surveys, interdepartmental memoranda, sample student work, and brochures. Most of the documentation originates from the office of Engineering Physics under the directorship of Prof. Edward Auld. Dr. Jon Nakame accumulated the CEAB Accreditation materials. In general, these documents reflect the Director of Engineering Physics' role and interests, and specifically Prof. Edward Auld. They underscore Engineering Physics' relationship to the Department of Physics and Astronomy and the Faculty of Applied Science.
The first series consists of files that were collected and organized chronologically by Engineering Physics. Subsequent series include documentation regarding specific courses within Engineering Physics and documentation relating to the accreditation of Engineering Physics by the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board during the 1990s and 2000s. There are 350 prints and 260 negatives included in the Photographs series, most of which were taken in the 1990s.

Fonds consists predominantly of copies of Douglas Bankson’s plays, scripts and short stories. It also includes photographs from two Bankson plays and of his artwork, as well as different posters and recordings from miscellaneous Bankson productions.

Fonds consists of records made and received by the Division of Industrial Education. The bulk of the fonds documents the administrative activities of the Division, such as personnel, budgets, meetings, committees, and the association with the Faculty of Education and other offices at UBC. The fonds also contain program development documentation, including proposals, curriculum, course outlines, and other teaching materials. Additional records are related to the field of Industrial Education in general. Textual records are comprised of memorandums, meeting agendas and minutes, correspondence, reports, notes, curriculum, and lesson plans. Non-textual records include photographs and technical drawings.

Fonds consists of textual and audiovisual material related to David Suzuki's professional work. It includes notes and manuscripts of several of his books, including From Pebbles to Computers and Sciencescape and copies of correspondence relating to his articles published by The Globe and Mail, the Southam News Syndicate and Science Dimension in the 1980s. It also includes correspondence relating to his professional work, his broadcasting and literary career, his work in the Department of Zoology at UBC, and research materials, information and correspondence regarding various associations to which Suzuki belonged or had dealings. It also includes recordings of David Suzuki's "Discovery" and "Equinox" from 1983-1990 and video recordings of some episodes of "The Nature of Things" from 1994, and copies of his speeches from 1985-2009.

Fonds consists of materials related to David Measday from his time as a graduate student at Oxford to his post-retirement work at UBC. The fonds primarily include material regarding his research, academic writings, and administrative duties at the University of British Columbia. Additionally, reports arise from various international, governmental, and non-governmental organizations with which Measday had some association. Organizational records include materials for the development of TRIUMF. There is also a small amount of teaching material from lectures and physics courses taught by Measday. Material is organized into series based on intuitional association, most of which is from Measday’s time working at UBC and TRIUMF.

Fonds contains records relating to the research of David C. Walker. This includes photographs of electron microscope images and illustrations regarding epithelial and endothelial tri-cellular corner tight junctions. Also included are notes, drafts, reviews, and final copies of four publications: “The role of epithelial cell tight junctions in tracheal permeability,” “The reassessment of the tricellular region of epithelial cell tight junctions,” “The structure of the tricellular junctions of pulmonary capillaries,” and “Tricellular corners: preferred sites for leukocyte emigration from the pulmonary vasculature of rabbits".

Fonds consists of editorial files and materials accumulated by Cyril Belshaw as editor of Current Anthropology. The materials include correspondence, reports, minutes of meetings, publications, manuscripts (accepted and rejected), and financial statements. They are arranged in the following series: Sol Tax (Editor), Rejected Articles, Accepted Publications, Duplicate Files, Editorial Files, CA - General, CA - Accounts, and University of Chicago Press.

Fonds consists of textual records created and acquired by the Committee on Arrangements in the course of its activities, and includes committee minutes, conference statistics, sample forms, and assorted printed material.

Fonds consists of records that document the UBC Community Learning Initiative's history and includes correspondence, reports, minutes, written notes, and published items. It is arranged in two series: Administration and Programmes.

Fonds consists of material related to meetings and minutes, revenue statements, and specific scholarship applications and awards. Also included is a copy of volume 1, number 1 of the newspaper "Western Universities Battalion-196th" from October 21, 1916. (Copy in the Stuart J. Schofield fonds. Fonds consists of documents regarding the formation of the College for Interdisciplinary Studies and the initial call for campus-wide input regarding the future of interdisciplinary studies at UBC. It includes brochures, annual reports, endowment deeds, and reports on the ongoing structure of CfIS, as well as papers relating to the 2010 External Review of the College. Note that while the series contains sections I and II of the 2010 External Review, it appears likely that there was once additional material as the index states that there were ten appendices.

Fonds consists of textual records documenting the origins and early history of the Vancouver/Westcoast Women’s Network and includes the organization’s constitution, copies of its newsletter (1981-90), membership directories, brochures and other promotional material, newspaper clippings, correspondence, and meeting agendas and minutes.

Fonds consists of grant proposals, meeting minutes and agenda, correspondence, contracts, course materials, copyright permission forms, conference proceedings, job descriptions and applications, budgets, and employee information related to the Centre for Teaching, Learning and Technology’s role in course development and facilitation, supervision of graduate students, collaboration with other universities and institutions, and the Centre’s internal administrative functions. CTLT created the records between 1973 and 2007 at the University of British Columbia. Fonds consists of transcripts and audio recordings of 13 interviews with Canadian librarians who have been involved with IFLA.

The fonds consists of records relating to the teaching, research and supervision work of Edmond Granirer. The records in this fonds include published math articles, correspondence with colleagues and organizations, lecture notes and presentations on Algebra given around the world. There are also records of his early career in the US and student evaluations of his classes. Also in the fonds are newspaper clippings, reports, programs and photographs. The records have been divided into four series Career Records, Published Papers, Lectures and Conferences, and Correspondence.

The fonds consist of reports from field surveyors submitted as applications to designate areas in British Columbia for protection. The fonds also contains supporting records relating to the wider Ecological Reserve program and include correspondence, progress reports, presentations, memorandums, lectures, briefs, surveys, "dead applications", news clippings, Orders of the Lieutenant in Council [photocopies], pamphlets, check sheets, aerial photographs, park proposals, handwritten notes, and meeting minutes. Also included is a small series of records relating to Vladimir Krajina, including; general correspondence, curriculum vitae, a list of publications, articles, newspaper clippings, notes, a legacy biography and obituary.
The archivist restored the original order where it was definitive. However, Ecological Reserve Applications 1-39 can be found scattered throughout the supporting records series. The original record keeper appears to have created a filing system beginning at the Ecological Reserve Application 40 (Petitot Rivers).

Includes provenance information and research regarding Sawyer's private collection of art and artefacts including sales records, photographs, inventories, catalogues and correspondence.

Also, because of the close working relationship between the Department and the Vancouver Hospital & Health Sciences Centre Department of Medicine -- the two were led by the same department head for much of the 1990s -- some VHHSC records were kept with the UBC files in the department offices; they remained interfiled when the records were transferred to the University Archives. The records include correspondence, reports, minutes, and published materials. The fonds consists of records documenting Juda Quastelʹs activities as a scientist from 1917 to 1987. Series include biographical information; correspondence; presentations and lectures; scientific research, notes, and data; written reports, published and unpublished materials; photographs, slides, glass plates, and audiovisual material. Collectively, these records reflect Quastelʹs various scientific roles as researcher, professor, author, and public speaker. Some records (i.e. particular correspondence and photographs) also reveal Quastelʹs personal life as husband and father.
