The collection consists of materials acquired by Special Collections and the University Archives and maintained for purposes of historical research. It includes reports, correspondence, committee minutes, course materials, architectural and other drawings, newspaper and magazine clippings, press releases, posters, brochures, and other published materials. The materials are arranged alphabetically by subject or name (e.g. organisations, University departments, events, buildings/places, and individuals).

The fonds consists of articles, reports and government publications that were amassed by Duff and are related to land claims, government papers, treaties and matters related to Indigenous communities. Included are records on councils, associations and committees, meeting minutes, documents, educational materials, and media-associated materials such as bulletins, Indigenous newspapers, newsletters, and brochures of organizations.

Fonds consists of textual records documenting the programmes and activities of the Department of Pathology, and the Departmentʹs relationships with other organizations. These records include minutes, correspondence, course outlines and related materials, and reports. The records are arranged in the following series: Minutes, Department Head, Courses, Buildings and Facilities, Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, and General.

This fonds consists of lists of lecturers, curriculum vitae, minutes, newspaper clippings and photographs; it is divided between administrative and lectures series.

The fonds consist of records relating to the founding and running of the Health Sciences Historical Society and documents relating to the running of the B.C. branch of the Canadian Society for the study of the History of Science and Philosophy of Science. This includes drafts and copies of the Society’s constitution, correspondence, newsletters, meeting minutes, agenda, mailing lists, reports, a lecture transcript, and a notebook recording event attendees with programs and menus stapled in. The order that the fonds were kept at Woodward Library has been retained.
