Goldsmith (Second thoughts)

Jane Rule

Subseries contains textual records pertaining to Jane Rule's "Detained at Customs" publication in Lazara Press' Discussion Series. This essay discusses the Little Sisters Bookstore vs Canadian Customs court cause in 1986. The subseries contains a copy of the published edition of the chapbook. Other records included in the subseries include newspaper and magazine clippings about Rule and/or her publication, correspondence, court transcripts, and Rule's obituary/celebration of life. The CD-ROM is a brief video clip depicting Margaret Atwood speaking about Rule after Rule's death in 2007.

Hollingsworth (Smiling under water)

Subseries contains textual records related to Margaret Hollingsworth's volume of short stories titled <i>Smiling Under Water</i>. These records include drafts of the volume as well as copies of correspondence and the contract between Hollingsworth and Lazara Press. Baxter (Death in a dumpster: A passion play for the homeless)

Records include drafts and manuscripts, as well as the published editions of many of Potrebenko's works. Other records include correspondence, invoices, reviews and promotional information, distribution lists, and production records such as layouts and prototypes. The photographs in this subseries are images taken and/or selected to be featured in Potrebenko's published works.

Subseries contains textual records related to the broadsides created by Helen Potrebenko and published by Lazara Press including: <i>17 Years and a Coffee Truck</i>, <i>"Almost Morningside" - An Excerpt</i>, <i>Displacement</i>, <i>I Was Riding Home </i>, <i>La Critique Litteraire</i>, <i>Encore une faute de frappe toute bete</i>, <i>Dictatyping</i>, and other unpublished works. Records include drafts of Potrebenko's broadsides and chapbooks, and, in many cases, the published editions as well. Other records include correspondence, invoices, reviews, and production records such as layouts and prototypes.

Incoming correspondence

Sub-series consists of the incoming correspondence of Sir Joseph William Trutch. Correspondence is mainly from family members, including Charlotte H. Trutch, Caroline Agnes Trutch, William Pinder, and Emily White.

Outgoing correspondence

Sub-series consists of Trutch's outgoing correspondence, including some copies of original correspondence held by the Oregon Historical Society.

Reports

Series consists of two reports by Sir Joseph William Trutch, including a "Report on the Lower Fraser Indian Reserves" and a report advocating the construction of roads in the Rocky Mountain passes.

Legal documents

Sub-series consists of legal documents of Sir Joseph William Trutch, including his last will and testament and an indenture pertaining to family financial arrangements in preparation for the marriage of his brother John in 1870.

Diaries

Sub-series consists of Trutch's daily diaries for the years 1870, 1897, 1902, and 1906 . Diaries include notations pertaining to his appointments and activities, financial transactions, correspondence, and the weather.

Outgoing correspondence

Sub-series consists of Trutch's outgoing correspondence to his brother Joseph, his sister Charlotte, and his daughter Charlotte.

Correspondence

Sub-series consists of Morgan-Kelly's incoming correspondence, including correspondence concerning her interest in documenting and preserving the Trutch family history, and correspondence pertaining to the estate of Sir Joseph W. Trutch.

Envelopes

Sub-series consists of envelopes originally containing correspondence addressed to the Trutch family, particularly to John Trutch.

Outgoing correspondence

Subseries contains copies of the Minister's outgoing correspondence, arranged chronologically and sequentially numbered.

Sub-series consists of general monthly sales reports as well as sales and/or service fee reports for the Literary Press Group, Marvin Melnyk, the University of Toronto, Inland Book Company and various other distributors.

Marketing/distribution

Sub-series consists of correspondence concerning distribution, reports of sales representatives and agreements with distributors, specifically the Literary Press Group, Marvin Melnyk and the University of Toronto Press.

Correspondent-specific correspondence

Sub-series consists of correspondence with employees, book publishers and distributors, government granting agencies, literary reviews and businesses as well as correspondence about particular subjects.

General correspondence

Sub-series consists of general and editorial correspondence and postcards received at Pulp Press from 1973 to 1978. Files are arranged in chronological order. “in” refers to letters received, “out” to those sent. “in/out” indicates that letters received and copies of those sent are filed together.
