This fonds contains records relating to Cameron MacLeod’s schooling, personal life, and work as an artist. The majority of the material spans from his childhood until his death in 1983, but the fonds also contains records relating to posthumous exhibitions of his artwork. Included in the fonds are schoolwork, personal reflections and journals, correspondence with family and friends, photographs, and examples of his artwork.

File contains the daily log book for the sloop "Nymphe," of which Spring was master. Log covers a sea lion hunting trip from April 23, 1913 through October 4, 1913. The file also contains the Commissioner of Fisheries Report for 1913 in which Charles F. Newcombe and William A. Newcombe summarize the same trip in a report on sea lions on the coast of British Columbia.

The collection consists of two catalogues (1927, 1935) of ethnological specimens presented by Frank Burnett to UBC and minutes of the University of British Columbia's President's Committee on the Musuem (1941-1944).

Portrait of Burnest Heard in front of the Wm. Rumsey Jr. Company in Toronto. Heard is pushing a barrel in front of him (around which are mounted two rubber tires), and around his neck wears a sign reading "Please help me across Canada." A second sign on the barrel reads "Burnest Heard is the world greatest lover on a walk accross (sic) Canada". He left Vancouver on June 1, 1938, passed through Quebec City on May 6, 1939, and reached Halifax on June 9 or 15, 1939. He then reversed his journey back to Vancouver (though traveling more slowly).
