Fonds consists of ephemera collected by UBC Alumus Zonia Sekora, including English Lit 100 & 101 exam papers, Mathematics 101, Notice of Admission, Frosh Orientation schedule, Panhellenic Rushing at UBC and miscellaneous ephemera, including non-UBC items.

The fonds contains correspondence, drafts of Luft’s books and papers, mathematical proofs and notes of Luft’s concepts, notes on the work of other mathematicians work, work records about Luft’s time at UBC, records created while Luft was a student, and ephemera. It consists of the following series: Correspondence, Scholastic years in Germany, Teaching and Work Records, Mathematics Department, Luft Papers, Proofs and Notes, and Ephemera Series.

Fonds consists of textual, graphic and audiovisual material from Grace’s academic research on Malcolm Lowry, Sharon Pollock, Tom Thompson, the Canadian North, Canadian art, and Mina Hubbard. Series are based on individual projects, with a separate series for audiovisual materials and a final series for incoming general correspondence. Series are further sub-divided into sub-series.

The collection is an assemblage of movie memorabilia (predominantly Noir and Western), 20cm x 25cm film-stills, 28 cm x 36 cm lobby cards, and ephemera amassed by Thompson as a part of her research for her books Hard-Boiled and Tall in the Saddle. Additionally, there are Science Fiction stills and posters, Spanish-language lobby cards, 36cm x 91cm insert posters, and miscellaneous stills from other 20th-century cinema.

The fonds consists of biographical information, correspondence, publications, news clippings, photographs, awards, reports, diaries and ephemera, which belong to or were written/created by Lyle Creelman.

The fonds consists of six series which contain the following: student publications, curriculum offerings and course descriptions, handbooks, examinations, faculty information, committee meetings, interdepartmental memoranda and correspondence, meeting reports and annual reports, elections, curriculum revisions, reading lists, a “departmental bible,” departmental newsletters and bulletins, departmental meeting minutes, council policy and membership, reorganization proposals, and task force information, notable alumni ephemera, and the UBC Medal for Canadian Biography All records are the results of activities that took place within the Department of English from 1940 to the early 2000s.

The fonds consists largely of printed material, including pamphlets, advertisements and brochures relating to logging and milling equipment, machinery and buildings from the 1920s. Other records include correspondence to the head of the department H.R. Christie, a planned drawing of Idlewild Seed Extractory and a black and white photo of Coo's Bay Lumberyard in California

The fonds consists of minute books, membership lists (1916-1937), photographs, plays, financial records, programs and play announcements (1916-1961), scrapbooks (1916-1944), and ephemera.

The fonds consists of Cyril Belshaw's personal and professional papers. The professional records chronicle both his involvement in numerous local, national, and international organizations (including the Academic Board for Higher Education in British Columbia, the Regional Training Centre for United Nations Fellows, the Social Science Research Council of Canada, the Pacific Sciences Association, UNESCO, and the Canadian Sociology and Anthropology Association), and his teaching and administrative activities at UBC. The records also include his original research material and data into various groups in the South Pacific, and other topics in anthropology. More personal records related to his education and family. Also included are materials about the disappearance and subsequent inquiry into the death of Betty Joy Belshaw. The materials include meeting minutes, course materials, publications, manuscripts, research journals, personal diaries and agendas, financial statements, press clippings, photographs, maps and audio-visual materials.
