File consists of landscape photography by Hanne, depicting lakes, mountains, ice fields, and glaciers of British Columbia and Alberta. Some of the locations featured in these photographs are: Howe Sound, Hatzie Lake, Moraine Lake, Lake Errich, The Lions, Shuswap Lake, Kalamalka Lake, Columbia Icefield, Balsam Lake, Cultus Lake, Stave Lake, Waterfowl Lake, Takakkaw Falls, Bow Glacier, Rogers Pass, Vaseau Lake, Mount DeVille, Lake O’Hara, Emerald Mountain, Tower of Babel, Mount Eisenhower, Haddo Peak, Narao Peak, Mount Rundle, Banff, Yoho Glacier, Mount Begbie, Mount MacPherson, Boom Lake, Lake Louise, Consolation Lake, Medicine Lake, and more.

Physical condition

Some of the materials in this file have been impacted by vinegar syndrome. At least 30 envelopes containing negatives, metadata slips, and prints were damaged beyond any hope of salvage and consequently had to be destroyed by RBSC. 18 envelopes containing negatives were similarly destroyed because of extensive vinegar syndrome, however, the slips of metadata paper were saved and are located in RBSC-ARC-1810-02-22.

Includes: 32 medium b&w photographs, 44 large b&w photographs, and 97 envelopes containing negatives and textual information.

Items PH-3042 to 3137 and 4310 are each made up of 2-3 composite parts: an envelope with a handwritten title and identification number provided by the creator; a piece of paper containing handwritten image metadata; and one or more b&w negatives. These negatives range in size from 6x6 cm to 12.5x17 cm.
