Copies of this material were provided to the union by the company. The material was not in a meaningful order; therefore, it has been arranged into three separate files. The Joint Agreements file contains copies of agreements between the Joint Industrial Council and the company for 1918, 1943, 1944, and 1945. The Minutes file contains minutes of special meetings held in June and July 1946 just prior to the formation of the union. The Letters file contains correspondence covering the period from April 1943 to May 1946, the majority of which pertains to the concerns of the local plant management about the possible formation of a union.
