Series consists of records created and used by the Women's Research Centre to develop strategies for change. The Women's Research Centre collected data on various women's experiences and developed action plans and strategies for implementing social and legislative change designed to benefit women. The Women's Research Centre worked with the Law Foundation of BC, the National Advisory Committee, the Port Alberni Friendship Centre, the India Mahila Association, and the Gold River Community Initiatives Society. In developing strategies for change, the Women's Research Centre held workshops, conducted surveys and interviews, and produced numerous reports. In addition, there was extensive correspondence between the Women's Research Centre and various levels of Government.
