In the sixty-minute arts documentary Every Body (2002), Joe Laughlin and his South African dance team use the universal language of dance to bridge continents and cultures. Laughlin is an award-winning Canadian choreographer, dancer and teacher whose dance audiences have viewed theatre and film commissions throughout Canada, the United States, Europe, South Africa and China. He has been the Artistic Director of Vancouver-based dance troupe Joe Ink since its establishment in 1995. In 1996 he received the Clifford E. Lee Award for Choreography, and in 2003 he received the Jacqueline Lemieux Prize for Outstanding Contribution to Canadian Dance. Directed by Deb Wainwright, the film documents Joe Laughlin's 2002 Sonke Sisonke/Everybody project in collaboration with the South African dance company Moving Into Dance Mophatong. The project was based on the personal experiences and stories of the dancers. The film resulted in a 2003 Leo Awards nomination for David Paperny in the Documentary Arts / Performing Arts category and an Honorable Mention to Paperny Films at The Film Council of Greater Columbus' 2003 Chris Awards.

Evening Classes, Lectures, and Correspondence Courses series
Series consists of correspondence, reports, course outlines, brochures, and documents the evening classes, lectures, and correspondence courses administered by the Department. The records are arranged in the following sub-series: Evening classes, Lecture service, Extra- sessional courses, and Directed reading and correspondence courses.
Fonds documents several of Eva-Marie Kröller’s academic projects: her biography of British Columbia author George Bowering, Bright Circles of Colours (Talonbooks, 1992); essays on Roy Kiyooka and Emily Carr; her book Canadian Travellers in Europe, 1851-1900 (UBC Press, 1987); materials relating to her book Writing the Empire: The McIlwraiths, 1853-1948 (2021); an article entitled “Une femme bien en vue”: Adrienne Clarkson and the Media (2014); and an anthology of travel literature that she and historian Pierre Savard were planning, but which was not completed before Savard’s death in 1998 in addition to other various research materials. Also included are documents related to a workshop organized by SATE (Swiss Association of Teachers in English), and correspondence with Canadian authors. The materials consist of textual records (correspondence, notes, drafts, and readers’ reports), published materials, and a 3.5” computer floppy disk containing a digital manuscript of Bright Circles of Colours.

Fonds includes correspondence, reports, minutes, notes, photographs, drafts of Johns' unfinished autobiography and related papers, and manuscripts of a considerable number of her articles and speeches the majority of which were published. Among the letters here included are those which Johns wrote to Eileen C. Flanagan during the period 1949-1967, and which the latter has donated.

Subfonds consists of records that date from 1920 to 2004. These include textual material and photographs, the majority of which were created and accumulated by Esther Paulson. Material pertains to Esther’s education and nursing career, with a number of articles, both by her and others, relating to her interest in tuberculosis nursing. Others document her involvement with various associations and organizations, including the Registered Nurses' Association of British Columbia, the Canadian Nurses' Association, the International Council of Nurses, and the Canadian Tuberculosis Association. The photographs document her life in the East Kootenays and the Kamloops area.

Essentials of Mathematics Project series

This project was produced as part of a contract with the British Columbia Ministry of Education. This was the first contract that Pacific Educational Press had with the Province. PEP published three student books and three accompanying teacher resource books for the project between 2001 and 2004. This was done with the input of multiple provinces and territories. Each book had a slightly different group of authors, though many authors wrote for several of the books.
Series consists of documentation of the Essentials of Mathematics series and includes book proposals, minutes, drafts, editorial notes and reports, and correspondence. It is arranged in subseries based on the book title.

English Literature Research Collection
The collection consists of records collected by Professor David Macaree in his research on early 18th Century English literature. It includes transcribed typed copies of the complete works of David Crawford (or Crawfurd) (ca. 1700); a copy of an article written by Macaree about Crawford (1961); and photocopies of early political pamphlets by Daniel Defoe (ca. 1700-1714).

Fonds consists of a scrapbook of prize-winning models created between 1961 and 1964 and sponsored by the Association of Professional Engineers of B.C. presented to the Engineering Undergraduate Society.

The fonds consists of documentation regarding specific courses, accreditation, correspondence, surveys, interdepartmental memoranda, sample student work, and brochures. Most of the documentation originates from the office of Engineering Physics under the directorship of Prof. Edward Auld. Dr. Jon Nakame accumulated the CEAB Accreditation materials. In general, these documents reflect the Director of Engineering Physics' role and interests, and specifically Prof. Edward Auld. They underscore Engineering Physics' relationship to the Department of Physics and Astronomy and the Faculty of Applied Science.
The first series consists of files that were collected and organized chronologically by Engineering Physics. Subsequent series include documentation regarding specific courses within Engineering Physics and documentation relating to the accreditation of Engineering Physics by the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board during the 1990s and 2000s. There are 350 prints and 260 negatives included in the Photographs series, most of which were taken in the 1990s.

The fonds consists of audio recordings of Weisgarber compositions or performances (1957-1999); musical scores, drafts and sketches (1941-1996); and research materials generated or accumulated by Weisgarber in the preparation of an unpublished biography of Aurelio Giorni, a manuscript entitled “Flute Music of Zen,” and an article "The Honkyoku of the Kinko-Ryu: Some Principles of its Organization" (1968). It also consists of family and personal records, including correspondence, fictitious and biographical writings and journals written by Elliot, Beth, and their family.

Fonds consists mainly of correspondence between Ellen Jaffe and Jane Rule, written between 1996 and 2001. The first series follows a letter Jaffe wrote to Rule in appreciation of the TVO film Fiction and Other Truths about her life and work. The rest of the letters deal with Jaffe asking to use quotes from the film in her book Writing Your Way and her visiting Rule on Galiano Island in 2001 to give her a copy of the book. The folder also includes a copy of Jaffe’s book, with the quotes from Jane Rule bookmarked.
