Logan and other members of the Logan Family. Fonds includes the diaries of John A. Logan, a pastor and Harry Logan's father. Fonds also includes Gwyneth Logan's work on the genealogy of the Logan family, as well as memorabilia from her university days and letters of condolence which she received on the death of Professor Logan.

The fonds contains essays, lab notes, class notes and theses created and acquired by Lois and Ralph during their time as post-secondary students. The fonds is divided into two series: Ralph Cudmore’s Student Records and Lois Cudmore’s Student Records. The archivist arranged the records of Lois and Ralph by chronological order and course name where applicable.

The fonds consist of Bewley's academic and professional work, including several papers written and supervised by her. The fonds consists of materials related to Mabel Taylor's nursing career and international travels. The materials document the professional life and world travel of an independent woman in the first half of the twentieth century. Record types include diplomas and certificates of nursing, travel documents including Taylor's passport and visas, correspondence related to job openings, as well as Taylor's written exam for obtaining a drivers' license in Durban, South Africa.

The fonds consists of the following series: correspondence (1916-1972), speeches (1926-1935), writings (1920-1962) and miscellaneous material (1898-1974).

Most of this collection was assembled by William Tetlow of the UBC Office of Institutional Analysis and Planning, and consists of President MacDonald’s initial proposal to the Board of Governors and Senate as well as minutes and reports arising from the work of the Committee on Higher Education (1962/63). In addition, there are also copies of numerous briefs presented by community groups from throughout the province. Also included are copies of documents related to the Report, compiled by the President’s Office and sent to Simon Fraser University to help the SFU Archives document the origins of their university, and maintained as a potentially useful historical resource.

In addition, the fonds contains course materials, minutes of meetings, and administrative records relating to the UBC Faculty of Forestry. The fonds also contains photographs and slides documenting the Faculty of Forestry and its students as well as the University Research Forest.

Fonds consists of textual and audiovisual material relating to the production of the movie "Manufacturing Consent: Noam Chomsky and the Media", released in 1992, and the companion book by Mark Achbar published in 1994. The filmmakers chose to capture
the majority of their work on film, rather than video, for several reasons. Firstly, during the 1980’s, video resolution was significantly lower than film negative and in an effort to ensure the image resolution was high film was chosen as the predominant medium.
As well, the NFB (National Film Board) was equipped primarily for film shooting, processing and editing. Finally, the motivation to participate in film festivals, which wanted film rather than video, compelled the filmmakers to use film as their medium. Some small format video, captured using rented broadcast quality video gear, was used for long talks or events which would have been uneconomical to shoot in film. The audiovisual material includes original camera negatives, audio and video tapes and sound bites used as research material and in the making of the film as well as some post-production rough cuts, alternative versions and promotional material relating to the distribution of the film and subsequent video. The textual material includes pre and post-production materials as well as production logs and graphical materials. Much of the post-production material relates to the promotion of the film and the media coverage of the film and of Noam Chomsky.

The fonds consists of forty-one interviews with thirty eight colleagues, family, students and friends of Margaret Ormsby. In addition to the 50 cassette tapes there is also general information about the project as well as textual material for each interview consisting of a tape release form signed by the interviewee, a biographical information sheet and a detailed "timed tape guide".
