Fonds consists of reports, printed materials, publications, conference proceedings and programs, correspondence, minutes, memoranda, and contracts pertaining to MacPhee's personal and professional life. Fonds is arranged in seven series: Biographical Information, MacPhee Family Genealogy, General Scottish History, Books and Articles by MacPhee, Banff School of Advanced Management, and History of the Faculty of
Commerce and Business Administration series. The latter series includes materials relating to the history he prepared for the Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration in 1976.

The fonds consists of correspondence, memos, minutes, agendas, notes, blank forms including those required for legal documentation, guidelines, newsletters, reports, copies of published newspaper and journal articles and copies of book extracts, a notebook, brochures, CV copies, a workshop summary, posters for public lectures, a course outline, copies of advertisements, and research protocols.

Fonds consists of textual and audiovisual materials that document the programmes and activities of the Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration / Sauder School of Business. It includes correspondence (internal and external), minutes, reports, published materials, press clippings, architectural drawings, course curricula, and one VHS video recording. The fonds consists of records which document the origins of SDRI and reflect its activities during its first five years of existence, and includes correspondence, reports, minutes, financial records, and published materials. It is arranged in five series (Central Files, General Correspondence, UBC Correspondence, Subject Files, Research Projects) and one sous-fonds ("Women and Sustainable Development: Canadian Perspectives" Conference).
