The fonds consists of manuscripts, research files and printed material relating to Knight's activities as a student and university professor in the field of anthropology. Included are manuscript copies of A Very Ordinary Life, Indians at Work, Along the No. 20 Line and transcripts of interviews with Bob Chestnut, Harvey Murphy, and John Smith. Fonds also includes a typescript copy of Knight's and a manuscript copy of an autobiography of Homer Stevens.

The fonds consists of diaries, photographs, and correspondence of Janet Jenkins. The photographs parallel the diaries and correspondence in documenting her life. Also included is a postscript to the diaries written by her husband, Trevor Jenkins in 1991.

Some of the items in the fonds were also made or received by persons related to E.M. Delafield. Textual records in the fonds consist of letters related to Delafield's research and writing on the British author Charlotte Yonge and unpublished manuscripts, plays, short articles, book reviews, and lectures written by Delafield pertaining to her interests in Charlotte Yonge, women, religion, the lives of the British upper class, and other subjects. The fonds also includes clippings, obituary notices, photographs, and records related to the writings of Lorna Lewis. Fonds consists of seven series: Incoming letters; Manuscripts; Lecture notes; Newspaper clippings; Personal photographs; Records related to Lorna Lewis; and Outgoing letters.

The fonds consists of three certificates of graduation from the University of London Slade School of Fine Arts, a photograph (1905) of Davies in her childhood and a manuscript notebook written in the 1930s filled with observations about wildlife in British Columbia.

Fonds consists of records relating to Dr. Harry Mark Draggatt's philatelic interests and contains biographical information about Dr. Daggett including his birth certificate, grade school and high school report cards, University Diplomas, and a number of photographs. The fonds is made up of three series as determined by the creator. The series are Literature Study Group, BA Clips, and Personal.

The fonds consists of 141 letters written by 83 Canadian authors who received letters from the school requesting their books, a photograph, and a letter relating to their literary career. The photographs, with two exceptions, were not retained with letters and the books were placed in the school library; but the letters, many with their envelopes addressed to Miss Margaret Cowie, were passed by Margaret Cowie to a friend and eventually donated to the UBC Library. The correspondents include Marius Barbeau, Frank Burnett, Bliss Carman, Mazo de la Roche, Francis Dickie, Hubert Evans, Nellie McClung, L.M. Montgomery Macdonald, Isabel E. MacKay, Charles Mair, Emily Murphy, Charles G.D. Roberts, Constance Skinner, Robert Stead, and A.M. Stephen. Most of the letters were written between 1925 and 1928.

The fonds consists of manuscript copies of "Education in the Bulkley Valley" and "University Extension School of the '30's", both written in the 1930s. The fonds also includes a transcript of her memoirs about her life in the Bulkley Valley, 1914-1962. Relating mainly to pioneers in the Aldermere, Telkwa, Round Lake, and Hubert areas of B.C., the manuscript served as a regional gazetteer of local history and has been published as Rubber Boots for Dancing.
