Letter of R. Desrivières, an exiled patriote in Hamilton, Bermuda to Jules Lamothe of Montreal. After a voyage of 22 days, he arrived on July 24th. The Governor was reluctant to accept the exiles. The writer, now on parole, describes Bermuda and its population. There is a reference to M. Bourhitte.
