Series consists of both published sacred, secular, and popular music as well as hand-copied, transcribed music, collected by the members of the Icelandic community in Vancouver. Records include manuscript sheet music, part books, solo sheet music, and etude books; as well as vinyl recordings of various Icelandic music. Documents are arranged into files according to genre of music and language.

The first season of the reality shows My Fabulous Gay Wedding (2005) features host Scott Thompson (Kids in the Hall) preparing unique weddings for same-sex couples in only two weeks. Each episode focuses on a single couple and the planning team's work in making the festivities fabulous. The show followed closely on the heels of legalizing same-sex marriage in Canada, airing in the United States on the LOGO channel First Comes Love. Producers David Paperny and Trevor Hodgson won a Leo award in 2006 in Best Information or Lifestyle Series. Directed by Daniel Gelfant.

Records include minutes and reports from meetings and conferences, including several Annual General Meeting (AGM) reports, President and Vice-President reports, the National Association of Japanese Canadians' (NAJC's) constitution and amendments to that constitution, NAJC by-laws, center reports and center member lists, strategic plans, membership records, agreements, nomination documents, employment documents, correspondence, conflict of interest documentation, building information, case profiles, such as the one of Robert Bessler, survivor account records, and other records made or received by the NAJC in the course of their actions.
Series consists of photocopies and of original materials that relate to the activities and roles of former Presidents of the National Association of Japanese Canadians (NAJC). Presidents included in this series include Gordon R. Kadota (President files from 1983 - 1984), Art Miki (President files from 1984 - 1992), and Keiki Miki (President files from 1995 - 1996). The series also reflects the activities of the Vice-President, the Treasurer, and the Secretary of the National Executive Committee (NEC) and the representatives on the National Council, such as former Presidents of the NAJC’s chapter organizations or member centres at the local level. The photographs, negatives, and slides (the slides are duplicate images of the photos, with one or two exceptions) BC1849/1-86 are primarily images of Emily Carr and her artwork.
The slides BC1849/90-158 are primarily informal images taken by Cheney of her numerous Canadian artist friends, as well as slides portraying various U.B.C. dignitaries and other well-known Canadians. These date from 1951-1969 and include a section (numbered BC1849/149(a-f)-158) that is devoted to Dr.’s Ethel and Wallace Wilson.
Photographs numbered BC1849/159-200 are mainly photographs of Nan Cheney’s many friends and acquaintances, as well as photographs of art work, including her own. Also there is a series of photographs which record a sculpture show at U.B.C. in 1956 (BC1849/196a-1).

Sawicki sat as a representative for the City of Burnaby on numerous environmental committees and her participation in the work of those committees is reflected in this series. The series includes records from the City of Burnaby’s Environmental Waste Management Committee, the Waste Management Committee of the Greater Vancouver Regional District [GVRD], and the Metropolitan Board of Health. Sawicki’s work and concerns in the field of waste management and the environment are reflected in the numerous subject files contained within this series. Subjects covered include forestry management, water contamination, Chlorofluorocarbons [CFCs], recycling technologies and strategies, and Sewage and Drainage issues.
Navajo-Hopi Land Dispute series

New Classics, Season II-V series

New Classics (2001-2004) is a cooking show hosted by Rob Feenie, a Vancouver-based Canadian chef who has travelled the world as a culinary star. Airing on Food Network Canada, each episode feature several recipes centring on a particular dish or theme. Rob Feenie was the founder and executive chef of two restaurants in Vancouver, Lumiere and Feenie’s, and was the first Canadian to win on the television program Iron Chef. Directed by Nijole Kuzmickas.

Series includes records related to the Women’s Rights Committee (WRC), a committee which was created to “develop and strengthen the NDP policy on Women’s Rights. Thomas was an active member of WRC for a number of years. The WRC also published the feminist socialist newsletter <em>Priorites</em>, which Thomas was Coordinating Editor of from 1979-1981, and records related to the production of <em>Priorites</em> are included here. The series also includes records related to a report Thomas wrote for the Task Force for Technological Change.

This series consists of artist and project files, correspondence, grant and other funding applications, box office reports, festival files, records of visiting artists and artist residencies, artist and project files, and administrative records. Deborah “DB” Boyko was the Curator and Director/Curator of the New Music Program between 1990 and 2018, and much of the correspondence with funding entities and artists was directed to or sent by her. Concerts and events include jazz festivals (Fake Jazz, Du Maurier Jazz) and collaborations with the New Orchestra Workshop (NOW). The New Music Program also regularly offered student volunteer and work positions, coordinating with North Burnaby high schools.
