The fonds consists of notes, manuscripts, drafts, galleys, and correspondence relating to McWhirter's published and unpublished novels, short stories, poetry, and radio plays. It also includes biographical and autobiographical information, non-fiction manuscripts, book reviews, material regarding McWhirter's editorship of "Words from Inside", translation records, teaching material, records relating to his time as Head of the Creative Writing Department and other personal and professional correspondence.

Fonds consists of correspondence, photographs, clippings, artifacts, publications, legal documents, notes, transcripts of lectures and broadcasts, examinations, certificates, and other miscellaneous items. Most of the material was created and collected by Sedgewick himself and a small amount was collected by friends including Robert apRoberts after Sedgewick's death.

The records document Chambers' activities in three research projects that all attempt to reconcile the disputes between preservation and development interests in resource management. The first project is documented extensively. The last two projects offer only a glimpse into the response of the Nazko-Kluskus First Nations to the issues raised in the Purcell study. These papers offer valuable evidence of the continuing conflict surrounding resource management and First Nations land rights in B.C. and Chambers's role in attempting to find a resolution. There are three series of records that correspond to these three projects. Because the original order has been lost, it has been reconstructed with reference to the functions and activities of each project. Files within each series have been arranged in chronological order. Undated documents have been placed at the back of each file.

Fonds includes correspondence, reports, minutes, notes, photographs, drafts of Johns' unfinished autobiography and related papers, and manuscripts of a considerable number of her articles and speeches the majority of which were published. Among the letters here included are those which Johns wrote to Eileen C. Flanagan during the period 1949-1967, and which the latter has donated.

The fonds consists of correspondence, reports, and minutes of meetings relating to the activities and programs of the Department of Psychology, and photographs of Department Heads and prominent faculty members. Some records date from before the formation of the Department, when the psychology program was still part of the Department of Philosophy and Psychology. Also included are audio recordings of interviews (with typed transcripts) documenting the Department's historical development.

The Historical Files series consists of textual records which document the Department's formative years, and photographs; they had been placed in a box and stored separately from the Department's other records until transferred to the Archives.

The album also includes a newspaper clipping, post card and a typescript article about the Tashme Camp. Fonds consists of correspondence, manuscripts, contracts, and reports. The records document the administration of Pacific Affairs, in particular the editorial functions, and are arranged in the following series: Editorial Files, Contracts, Correspondence, Subject Files and Production Files.

The fonds consists of records generated by executive members of CSECS during the first nineteen years of the organisation's existence. The records relate to on-going administrative activities in areas such as membership and finance, to operational activities such as meeting and conference organisation, and to fundraising activities in support of both of these. The records are arranged in the following series: constitution; membership; executive correspondence; grant applications; conferences and annual general meetings; newsletters; financial; related societies; academic exchange programme; publications.

The fonds consists of records generated through the various activities of the Ceremonies Office. Included in the fonds are administrative records (1964-1984) as well as records that document the activities associated with Congregation (1950-2006), building openings (1951-1986) and numerous functions sponsored by the University (1962-1995). The fonds also include information about honorary degree recipients, congratulatory greetings to Presidents K. George Pedersen (1983), David Strangway (1985) and various other ceremonial activities. The first includes original and copy-edited typescripts for three of Ross's books: Lord Kames and the Scotland of His Day (1972), The Correspondence of Adam Smith (1977), and William Dunbar: A Critical Study (1981). The Arts I series consists of minutes, correspondence, reports and printed material arising from the establishment and assessment of the program.

Fonds consists of correspondence (1914-1945), journal offprints (1914-1922), manuscripts, minutes, reports, notes, diaries, clippings, army memorabilia, maps, photographs and biographical information pertaining to Schofield's personal and professional life.
