As Pratt held various roles simultaneously throughout her career and much of her union work informed her political career, this overlap is reflected in her files. Records are divided into series based on the role held by Pratt at the beginning of the process, resulting in some record dates falling outside the official boundaries of the role she was working in.

The fonds consists of a single implied series of sound captures relating to broadcasts, which is comprised of one reel-to-reel tape recording. The recording captures W.A.C. Bennett’s funeral on February 27, 1979 in Kelowna, B.C. Bennett was the Premier of British Columbia from 1952-1972.

Fonds consists of research compiled by art historian and curator Patricia Ainslie. The research relates to both her published writing and her curatorial work at the Glenbow museum in Calgary, AB. Coverage includes events, persons, and locations assessed as newsworthy at the time, predominantly concerning Kelowna and its immediate adjacencies. Attributed photographers include Val Gluschenko, Glen Schaefer, Rainer Ziegenhagen, Larry Langton, Mike Condon, Maev Brennan, Paul Saturley, Mark Zuehlke, Gordon Bazzana, Kevin Bird, and Allyson Jeffs.

The fonds consists of records about Dr. Breen’s precedent-setting suit against Hancock House Publishing and Edwin Gould for copyright infringement of his doctoral thesis. These documents include court filings, notes, and rulings related to the lawsuit. The fonds also consist of records and materials related to the Asian-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) protests of 1997, including Dr. Breen’s involvement, with both formal and informal documentation and complaints filed with the commission.

Fonds consists of materials created and collected by Joan Coldwell through her relationship and her business dealings with Jane Rule. It includes incoming personal correspondence from Jane Rule and Helen Sonthoff to Joan Coldwell and Ann Saddlemyer. Also included is a sous-fond, Hedgerow Press – Loving The Difficult, arising from the Press’s publication of Jane Rule’s final book.
It consists of correspondence, contracts, obituaries, publication and promotion materials, including photographs of the book launch on Galiano Island, a digital copy of the work, a bound paper draft, and the 2008 Lambda Literary Award for non-fiction.

Fonds consists of audiovisual material created or compiled during production of the film. It consists largely of interviews with Suzuki, members of his family and associates, filmed presentations by Suzuki, video clips from the CBC program, "The Nature of Things", and film of Suzuki and family members in various locations in British Columbia, Ontario and elsewhere. There are also stock shots and newscast clips related to environmental issues, and a copy of Suzuki’s debate with Philippe Rushton on the question of race and genetics.
The content of this fonds is housed on several different video and audio formats: Betacam SP, Hi-8, VHS, U-Matic tape (¾ in.), reel audio tape (¼ in.), audiocassette tape and DAT audio tape. Much of this audio and video material was used in the production of the final "cut" of the documentary, and content is represented across several of these formats, with audio content found in both audio and video formats. The larger volume of the content was recorded in the field (especially on Hi-8 and Betacam SP tape) and subsequently copied to VHS tape for editing. Detailed investigation of the VHS tapes against the Hi-8 and Betacam SP tapes will reveal whether the entire content of the latter has been copied to the former in all instances.
The original order of the content was preserved by format and the finding aid is organised on this principle. In addition, a second "intellectual" ordering of the content is provided as an appendix to the file listing: in that document the set of time-coded VHS tapes that were used for editing purposes have been utilised as the central feature of the fonds. It is hoped that this will permit researchers to see relationships that exist between the several formats.
The textual records were turned over to the University Archives by Peter Davis in 2015.

Fonds consists of a typewritten narrative of McKechnie’s and classmate George Gilchrist’s 1919 hiking trip through the Bridge River region, and two photocopied 1977 articles about his dog-sled journey from Hudson Bay to Cambridge Bay in the western Arctic.

The fonds consist exclusively of incoming correspondence from writer George Woodcock to Campbell as co-editor of Atropos. With his letters, Woodcock also included four typescript poems and an essay on Simone Weil published in Atropos. Woodcock also sent Campbell a typescript copy of his unpublished play The Floor of the Night.

The fonds contains correspondence, reports, and information about the Home Economics Department from Professor Peterat’s time working in the Home Economics Department at UBC. There is much correspondence that Peterat received from colleagues and students all over the world, publications and reports, and material related to the Landed Learning Program. The administrative records contain material documenting the different functions of Lazara Press, including promotional/distribution information, financial records, memberships information, and correspondence Lazara Press had with other printing presses and booksellers in Canada and in Europe. Other administrative records include materials pertaining to projects Goldsmith was involved in, either as a representative of Lazara Press or of her own initiative.

Records consist of two copies of the film on reels, a shot book containing copies of historical photographs and correspondence, contracts and other textual records related to the production and promotion of the film, and a teacher’s manual and study guide.

Fonds documents several of Eva-Marie Kröller’s academic projects: her biography of British Columbia author George Bowering, Bright Circles of Colours (Talonbooks, 1992); essays on Roy Kiyooka and Emily Carr; her book Canadian Travellers in Europe, 1851-1900 (UBC Press, 1987); materials relating to her book Writing the Empire: The McIlwraiths, 1853-1948 (2021); an article entitled “Une femme bien en vue”: Adrienne Clarkson and the Media (2014); and an anthology of travel literature that she and historian Pierre Savard were planning, but which was not completed before Savard’s death in 1998 in addition to other various research materials. Also included are documents related to a workshop organized by SATE (Swiss Association of Teachers in English), and correspondence with Canadian authors. The materials consist of textual records (correspondence, notes, drafts, and readers’ reports), published materials, and a 3.5” computer floppy disk containing a digital manuscript of Bright Circles of Colours.

Fonds consists of records related to Robert Duncan’s role as producer of the National Film Board of Canada’s documentary "Volcano: An Inquiry into the Life and Death of Malcolm Lowry" (1976). Principal work on the film spanned from 1974 to 1976.

Textual records in the fonds consist of transcripts of interviews conducted for the documentary and documents related to planning, research, production, and post-production activities for the film. Interview transcripts are arranged by film roll number and chronological order.
