The fonds consists of records dating from 1907 to 2008, which provide a unique source of information particularly about student-related matters such as grades, university admissions, graduation and examinations. In addition to records generated by the Registrar's Office itself, there are also Faculty records (1915-1963) which were probably maintained by the Registrar who served as the secretary to Senate. The Registrar’s Office also maintained the records of the Senate’s committees, reports, and elections (1912-1930). There are also records related to the Sopron Division of the Faculty of Forestry (1957-2007). These records include handwritten transcripts and correspondence. The records have been largely retained in their physical order in which they were acquired - as a result, records from different series are often inter-filed together, making it difficult to distinguish them with any accuracy. The records on microfilm include correspondence, student registration cards, academic records, and information on scholarships and bursaries dating from 1913 to 1968. The Registrar's Office also collected copies of student examinations. In 1993 copies of student examinations from 1915 to 1969 were microfilmed and the originals destroyed.

Reginald Walter Brock fonds

The fonds consists primarily of material accumulated during a survey of Hong Kong undertaken by the Department of Geology between 1923 and 1933. It is composed of notes, maps and reports generated by Brock and his associates. There are also some papers from the files of the Department of Geology. The papers have been roughly sorted according to form. Also included are several non-UBC publications initially kept in the Brock family library.

The Educational Notes series includes notes written by Keith, Mollie, Bruce and Delia during their grade school and university educations, and includes notes from 1935 to the 1970s.

Peter Moogk Research Collection

Collection consists of materials acquired by Peter Moogk and used in his research and his teaching activities. Four photocopied maps of the World War II Point Grey artillery battery were acquired by him from the Canadian Department of National Defence during research for his book Vancouver Defended. The remaining items – loose photographs, UBC publications, and a photograph album – were purchased by Moogk at collectors‘ shows and used as teaching materials for his UBC course History 304 “Local History from the Ground Up”. Some of the latter materials are of uncertain provenance; the photograph album has been identified as originally belonging to Jean Woodrow (Arts ’26).

The fonds consists of manuscript copies of "Education in the Bulkley Valley" and "University Extension School of the '30's", both written in the 1930s. The fonds also includes a transcript of her memoirs about her life in the Bulkley Valley, 1914-1962. Relating mainly to pioneers in the Aldermere, Telkwa, Round Lake, and Hubert areas of B.C., the manuscript served as a regional gazetteer of local history and has been published as Rubber Boots for Dancing.

The fonds consists of textual records, published materials, and photographs (loose and in scrapbooks), and includes biographical information, copies of speeches and articles (1942-1975). Also included are typed manuscripts of poems and short stories, a longer typescript entitled "Kootenay Chronicle," a copy of the Academic Policy Committee Report - UBC (1963). The correspondence and clippings were gathered during Cottingham's term as president of the BCTeachers Federation, and material relating to women's issues (1952-1963).
